Ban Walking

Walking is too slow. In this day and age, we should be stuck on a horse or other means of transport, period - even when inside our homes!

    In my 25 days of playtime i have not seen anybody walk before (except NPC's). I didn't even know you could walk until someone made a thread about everyone running all the time.

    I just tried walking for the first time, Reminds me of every time i killed a dragon in Skyrim and just had to loot all them juicy dragonbones then spent the next 20 minutes walking to the nearest town.

    So yes. Ban Walking! Or nerf it so we can walk at run speed, Thanks.

    genial, one practical use for walking is then you try to do an difficult jump up.
    Grinding just make you go in circles.
    Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

    Personally, I would much rather spycrab then walk.

    Perhaps it should be a nightblade specific ability :P

    I would happily agree to staying on horseback "even when inside our homes" if it meant we'd actually get homes!

    Funny, there's another thread where someone was complaining that everybody runs. Different strokes, I guess. I walk when I have to follow an NPC, or sometimes when I enter an area with some really awesome scenery, but otherwise, I'd rather just get there.

    To walk, you have to go into your options and bind a key to toggle run/walk. It's not bound to a key by default.

    Its a setting with your commands, not normally mapped. I mapped walking to 'Y'

    @Lukee‌ So I guess you didn't know you could still use fasttravel while overencumbered if you mounted first?

    In Skyrim? I just found barrels to dump my stuff in (especially dragon bones), and came back for them later.

    Yes in skyrim. Also, doing power attacks boosts you forward quite a bit.

    FYI - There is no such thing as 'night capping' in a world wide MMO.
    FYI - There was no paid Beta. When they launched the game the Beta was over, even if you don't think it was.
    FYI - It's B2P not F2P. There is a difference.
    FYI - It doesn't take any player skill to mash keys or buttons in this game. The ones that stay alive longer have the better internet connection and speed.
    FYI - The game is not broken, it still works. It just has 'bugs' that need to be fixed.

    It does look a lot less goofy to follow a walking NPC while while your character is walking too.
