Maybe latter in game they add a Master professions (VR for profession exp)

EDIT:I also recommend farming runes. Generally, gold and buying stuff with it is a fast alternative to farming stuff yourself. Me, I don't mind farming so much, starter zones are great for that. Lukee✭✭Blacksmithing, Clothing and Woodworking are all a question of traits, you can sell traits for researching 1k each.
6 Trait armor sets sell for ~5k/piece, Full 5 item set = an easy 25k
8 Trait armor sets sell for ~10k/piece, Full 5 item set = an easy 50k
Problem is it takes ages to research 8 traits in an item, but thats a good thing really as it will keep prices high.
Enchanting can be fairly profitable if you can find people selling the materials, Epic Glyphs can make ~1k Profit Each, Legendary ~2-3k Profit Each
Provisioning is nice if you have a V5 Epic Recipe which seems to be extremely rare, other than that i wouldn't bother.
And Alchemy is.. meh. Not good money but very useful if you do alot of PVE.
