What is with all the requests for nerfs?

Yes, I get some things (Dragon Knights) need a heavy helping of nerf soup, but I dont think we should nerf everything.

I have a problem with the Bolt Escape nerf. The Sorc has no self heals at all. Anyone who says they do doesn't know crap about the class. A resto staff doesn't count as self heals.

Pretty much every other class has a self heal. That includes nightblades kind of because they have strife. (Doesn't do too much, but close enough.) I noticed Sorcs have always used Bolt Escape in PVP to avoid being killed or to take damage, because they cant open a can of Insta-Heal™ like dragon knights can, and templars can. As a nightblade I was fighting a templar the other day, and he healed through everything I through at him. He was VR2 and I am VR8. Sure, a VR2 can take a VR8, just not in a cheap way like that.

Long story short, you're nerfing the things that don't need to be nerfed, and buffing the things that shouldn't be buffed (Besides nightblades. I agree with that one.)

Its not just that you nerfed bolt escape, its the way you did it. It is a very clumsy system to make it cost more after each use. Now people are gpnna disagree with this because they all think Bolt Escape is super OP just like they thought Mist Form was super OP. Sure, you can nerf Bolt Escape, but not to that extent. I believe Bolt Escape should just cost a little bit more, or decrease the length rather than kill the whole *** thing.

I just hope they buff Templars soon, I feel bad for them. From what I hear from guildies and the forums, their DPS is the lowest of all 4 classes.
I'm a man of few words. Any questions?

I hear you. I think what you are now saying is that all classes with self heals need to be nerfed and I agree. Nerf self heals they are OP.

Buff the DPS, Nerf some of the self heals. Thats what I think should happen.

Most are requests for balance. Players capable of stepping back and objectively looking at the game notice that their are serious balance issues.

Balance isn't about a single nerf but ZOS is taking small steps instead of global ones. If something becomes too weak then balance will continue but to ignore the blatant issues currently just to avoid "possible" new issues as a result of change is not viable method for change.

Well, they nerf the wrong stuff, because they listen to the wrong players.

BE alone was OP like hell , it is still broken , just less broken.

There should be no free escape pass , if this skill had a target and made you jump back from that target so you could avoid melee , it would have been 100% fine and people would not have raged.

The problem is when the sorc decides to just leave the combat AND he does , because you can barely stop him if he is not skilled at this. Only one class can even hope to run after a sorc and that is the NB , all the other must content to keep getting atked by the hit and run tactic , which is annoying.

    Cause and effect.

Now that DKs and Sorcs are nerfed, it's time to retaliate. Once NB is "fixed" I will be crying and whining anything about them to get some of their class defining skills nerfed, it's all about payback.

Such a simple rune, never nerf, always buff, but Zenimax chose the wrong way to balance.

A lot of people just asked for balance, not nerfs. The nerf road is a lazy way to get the QQers off of the devs backs. Nerfing one class doesnt buff another one so nothing got fixed. Weaker classes, Stamina builds and Melee still under performing against heavy magicka builds.

So what got fixed? First was Vampires, Then DKs, Now Sorcs. And nothing has changed at all, play the way you want still a lie.

I smell an OP Sorc or DK!

OP Sorcs and DKs still post roughly twice the sustained DPS output of Templars!

Templars are the only class that had their resource mechanic removed from Beta.

Half the classes remain broken while the other two have remained OP FOTM from Beta.

Buff, nerf, shatter... I don't care anymore as long as all classes have equal sustained DPS output and resource mechanics.

I just want to play the class the way I want to play and be effective and relevant in ESO as promised in the EA marketing hype prior to launch.

Not really a class issue in most cases, more like a staff/light armor issue

What's with all the requests for nerfs? Schadenfreude. Simple, pathetic schadenfreude.
