Increase Character Slots?

Hi everyone, couldn't find the information I was looking for so decided to ask it here.
Right now, is there a way to increase the number of character slots? Like I wanna play all 9 races but the maximum number of characters allowed is 8, is there a way to increase this maximum number?

The best you can hope for right now is to make characters on both servers. For instance, make 8 characters on the NA server, then make the 9th one on the EU server. If you make characters on both servers, you can have up to 16.

The drawbacks to this are, first, you have to re-download basically the entire game to access the other server. Second, characters on one server cannot access the bank for the other server. Third, you will likely be playing with people who speak something other than your native language, which can lead to serious communication problems.

I want more slots myself. I want to make 10 characters, one of each race, (including imperial), and I don't particularly want to have to deal with the above issues. The bank problem and the language barrier aren't so bad (but they would be decidedly annoying). I just REALLY don't want to have to re-download the game. It took long enough the first time.

Hopefully they will find a way to give us more slots in the future. They would probably make it a paid service, but I will take what I can get. As long as the price per slot was reasonable, I would be willing to deal. I'd rather they just give them to us, I don't wanna have to pay for it, but I will if that's the only option.

I'm on EU and its not very often people speak anything other than english. My native language is hungarian and I've yet to see a single message in it. Its a bigger problem that the server is still being held hostage on the other side of the planet..

Language really is not a problem on the EU server. You can if you wish filter chat to just see the English Language chat if you prefer.

Looks like it's not possible to increase characters slot on NA server itself. Need to rule out which racial character is my least favourite.

I would like to have an increase in the number of character slots too. I'm running out of bank mules.

You can play on both servers - that gives you 8 slots on each server, plenty of room to play each race. I currently have 5 on each (although 2 on each server are just mules at this point, but I will play them later when I have less 'bank stress')

Personally I think it should have been 12 from the start. That's 1 of each class per factions. Why the development team did not think of that during one of their iteractions is beyond me.

I really hope so, as I'm really want to create another 4 characters damn it!

Although the Devs really do need to fix the current Hireling system/exploit, before they allow us to create more characters.

All I'm asking is for four, maybe five more, character slots. I'll be able to have everything I want at that point and would be absolutely thrilled with the game.
