My V6 sorc does the same, usually 300-400, can burst to 700 if shard-curse-shard (instant proc) successfully in a roll.
But constantly 800? Not sure how to achieve that.
btw, I know I need more spell power (96 atm) and crit (30% atm). But my shard already does 660 dmg, would more spell power and crit chance really be able to push me to sustained 800 dps in 1 minute? what skill rotation would that be?
I definitely underestimated eclipse as well. After seeing how it completely shuts down sorcs (they either just hold a block, BE, or crystal fragment themselves in the face), it's always on my bar.CosmicChaos wrote: »CosmicChaos wrote: »My current V6 Templar runs at around 300-375 DPS. I'm not sure about that because I haven't played a Sorc. The reason the Templar is seen as being week mainly comes from our poor resource management. It's hard to explain how fast a Templar drains them. Basically we only have one ok AoE and it's not even AoE it attacks 3 targets if two are really close to the original target. So with the poor resource management Templars have trouble in a lot of situations taking out even a single enemy before their resouces run dry. I run a full light set and still struggle with it. I have found ways to win a lot of 1v1s. If a Templar builds their toon around DPS they are doing it wrong. We cannot keep up with the others in that regard. What we can do is annoy the *** out of casters with Eclipse. Templars even underestimate this ability, specially with how usefull it is against ai casters when capping resources outside keeps. Though if the Devs get wind of a useful Templar skill it will probably be nerfed. lol

Nightblade has 2 builds than can knock off 75 percent of someones health coming from stealth. If they do not use them they can still open up with ambush to veiled and make CC break not work and work ppl down that way. How is sorc pvp dps better than NB again?
Currently CC break is busted and you cannot activate it when certain CC is stacked through abilities. AKA nightblades dream ganking right now...
