BUT I AM GETTING 0 EXP FROM THIS SO-CALLED "EXPLOIT" everyone is talking about. ONly thing I sometimes get is purple loot drops (if i cared about that).
You cannot go from VR1-12 in a day: Thus, another /epicfail myth perpetuated by forums no doubt...

You can, you just have to be a top contributor to the killing of the crystal/air atro. It seems that only the top 12-15 in the contribution list get XP.
My templar did it through spamming Ritual of Rebirth.
My sorc did it by tagging mob with Quick Syphon and hitting Velocious Curse while weaving in heavy resto attacks and using Crystal Fragments on proc.
My DK did it....well by being a DK.0 -

✭The crystal gives 37k exp and the boss mob that spawns give 37k exp. But its about to be nerfed.
If there is more then 12 people killing it, there is a chance you will get zero exp, if your AOE damage/healing is too low
So I guess
(1) Your not grouped
(2) There are some V12 there who are doing WAY more damage then you
(3) There is more then 12 people attacking the crystal and the mobs that spawn
(4) You where not doing AOE damage so did not 'tag' the adds
Try it again, but use AOE's and tell me how it works for you. If you do not get to loot the chest, your DPS is no where near what it needs to be. If you do get to loot the chest but no exp, you were close but most likely missed out due to the number of players there and your dps was too low.
Try loaded a restore staff and just do AOE heals if you can not do the dps, AOE heals will also 'trigger' you for the exp.
I got my Templar to V12 the old way (quests) but after having a hard time getting trial runs, I leveled a sorc and dk to V12 using the Craglorn Anomaly's. Yes it was boring as hell and yes sometimes I got no exp as there was too many players there, but most rounds I got two lots of 37k.

TheGrandAlliance✭✭✭✭No I got it to work eventually but only when the total number of players was below 10 approx and the fights took awhile to complete. Get 8.5K per kill @ VR2 (bosses).
...not without a ton of grief on /z on L2P nonsense. It is math guys... if more then x players the rest get 0 exp LOL.

ShADoW0s✭✭✭So the way it works is the top 12 healers/dps in a group get the exp. If there are 2 group first the total damage from each group is calculated to see which group won, then the top 12 in that group gets the exp. This is why groups only accept a max of 12.
There is also situation (IDK bug) where if there are too many people attacking the boss and it dies quickly, no one gets any exp. I suppose this is because the damage gets split too much, and each person does not get enough %damage on the boss to get the exp.0 -

...alas remember getting a boatload of free blue/purplpes for doing basically nothign IS an exploit you know. I might not have gotten any EXP from bosses but I still got loot.Indeed it is so...0 -

No...
You have to use a ton of upgrade stuff to do that.
Not just "show up" to a boss and free stuff. BTW with all this free loot now crafting is suddenly easier cause now you have mats to break up and make stuff with.

No...

Not just "show up" to a boss and free stuff. BTW with all this free loot now crafting is suddenly easier cause now you have mats to break up and make stuff with.

anomaly stuff isn't even vr12, it is just filler stuff. what is going to happen is that they nerf it into oblivion and then no one wants to do it anymore. gg

it's not 100% chance to get the boosters. i could use the same argument for open dungeons. should they be nerfed into oblivion as well just because someone has the build to farm it effectively?0 -

Bromburak✭✭✭✭✭1. Your group sucks!
2. You are not inviting Low levels only to anomaly group, especially not if your overall DPS is bad and places are flooded!
3. You cruise 2-3 spots instead being a static pile of passive players!
4. You don't invite everyone and if necessary you kick leechers and afks because they are not sticking with the group for full dps.
Such groups will always be the weakest on a flooded place!
Your problem, not a power level myth!

TheGrandAlliance✭✭✭✭.... i was in big zerg groups so DPS wasn't problem for the group as a whole. My DPS sucks probably... but that is because it is slower... and when bosses go down in like 10-20 seconds it is hard to get enough personal DPS in order to "tag" the boss.
However when I waited until super late night eurozone and had a small 10 man approx group I was able to get EXP. Alas... a rare thing in either case.Indeed it is so...0 -
Bromburak✭✭✭✭✭Still, its no myth to PL with anomalies and you can make 2 Vet levels in 3-4 hours. (4-6 Millions)
Highest ratio only works with fast moving including portal to get all 3 spawns.
Sure, more relaxing are 1 or 2 spots and best time is in the morning when there are max 2 groups around in total and as soon there is zerg of course there is a chance they outdamage your group but not every pull.
