Need to do some inventory management. I have 1 character 100 bags, 90 bank space and have no problem with room management.

They should put in something along the lines of crafting bags. Have 1 bag in your inventory that holds all of the runestones. Have another bag that holds all of your herbs. Another that holds your ore...etc.

That would make it less of a chore to pick stuff up knowing that your inventory is full and you have to drop something even though you just sold everything to npcs about 15 minutes ago.

Sorry but I've been managing just fine with 190 bag spaces so sounds like a personal thing. That is actually a lot of space for an MMO, and more than I could ever carry in any single ES game.

ROFL, you forgot load in all the storage mules to get the things you need to keep out of the vault. Rinse and repeat every time you adventure with your current main character for a bit. :D

Yeah... If you want to use things you loot then every 20-30 minutes you need to go process and bank your inventory for 40-50 minutes... Fun stuff.

Need to do some inventory management. I have 1 character 100 bags, 90 bank space and have no problem with room management.

as a crafter this is something i try to perfect as i save everything i can, even for use on low levels right now my character has 160 bag space, and120 bank space filled with food, essence runes, and crafting things like, rough maple or saphires or nickle, things that I yeild in desconstruct, but not stuff like sanded maple

now here is the tricky part, i have alchemy maxed but still collect on all my characters, so how do i transfer to another character when my bank is full, my bank only has materials so i just withdraw all of the pitch trupens etc, that frees up about 10 slots, transfer accordingly, put back upgrade items, I have one active alt and the rest stay as storage for set items until it is done.

now that pesky "you need 4 open bag slots to deconstruct " message, sell crap and always deconstruct glyphs first, since they need one slot,

i only get my bag filled when i pile up plants and set items, but most of the time i have at least 60 slots open in my bag

I don't use an alt. I stack items in the bank that can be stacked, ores, runes, refining materials and what not, I also have items for research in there so I don't accidentally sell them. If I'm not using it or researching it I deconstruct for the XP. I then reconstruct old mats to sell as items, Like if I had a ton of iron I would make a crap ton of iron weapons and armour to sell off. I only keep mats for my current level or above. So right now I'm using dwarven so I keep dwarven and ebony don't need any of the previous. I have something like 65 honing stones in my bank which is plenty for me and they stack so it only takes 1 space. once I get to around 95 spaces used I go manage it, sell off mats I don't need like older ores and fabrics, keep refining because you never know when your going to need it and are harder to come by if you get a request. See I know where I can get mroe mats if need be so if someone wants iron armor i can go back to bal foyen and collect some real quick.

190 total bag space and you say you have no problems. Should I list all the crafting ingredients for the tradeskills you just listed? Let's just talk enchanting, cause many of those only stack to 20. Plus room for your armor and weapons, potions, provisions? Plus all the junk regularly falling off mobs? Plus if you play an alt? And if you play alts at different levels of trade skill progression?

Sorry, but I question your honesty.

Question it all you want its true. I just don't hoard everything because I know where I can get more. I do not play an alt at all. I had a character and didn't like his build so made a new character and haven't touched my main since. But no I do not play him nor do I use him as a mule. You can upgrade you horse to hold even more but I chose to make mine all speed. 190 is all I have and all i need.

My trick was to stop trying to do everything. As an mmo noob, I was trying to do everything, crafting wise. It was very difficult, but I pick 2 crafting types to do and stuck only with that. I'm a archer DPS. So I'm focusing on medium armor and woodworking. I only keep materials pertaining to those 2 things. I sell, breakdown, or give my friends other items.

I can't even imagine trying to take on provisioning and enchanting.

And now I only normally take up 13-15 slots on my character inv and 70/80 space in my bank. And I've only upgraded each one twice.

However, I will say that because of this, I don't think I can handle playing a second toon. I'd want to play another crafting style and my bank space being occupied with only my 1st toons crafting stuff would not work out. So that does kind of suck.

LOL....... Um, well yeah... If you don't pick stuff up until you need it, inventory won't be a problem. I also note you're not leveling several other crafting trades where some people level them all like EOS encourages them to do.

So I guess the better way to phrase your argument is "190 inventory is all you need as long as you don't pick everything up, store things, or level all crafting traits."

ah this is the reason I suck with VR content. i sit at cloth wood and metal all at 40 and have skills maxed, provisoning maxed, alchemy maxed, all that is left is enchanting at....level 21. I have a system, have 160 bag and 120 bank, in the grand scheme, i will be fine with some more skill points in me, but crafting is nothing comparied to research time. well only 24 more days until i can research more wood.

Don't need to level everything at once. The only think I'm not really leveling is provisioning because I haven't found a use for it yet. I store only what I know I'm going to need like refining mats, and style stones and trait stones. So yeah your right I don't feel the need to pick up 900 potatoes.

I have 1 toon. It is a crafting primary - I am doing clothing, wood, enchanting, provisioning and alchemy at the same time. I have 108 bag space and 80 bank space and I manage just fine. I am in a crafting primary guild that shares the guild bank for base crafting mats (trait gems, armour/weapons enhancement gems, etc.), we list full stacks of leather/cloth/refined metal in our guild store at 500g each. If we need more, we either unlist one of our listing or pay the 500g to get it from one of our guildies. Our guild uses bounce mail to help extend our questing and to store research items.

I keep partial stacks of unrefined mats, plants and provisioning mats in my bag. When they hit 100 I either use them or move them to my bank/guild bank/guild store.

Honestly, I have had no issues with inventory space since I started using this method. It works great. The only thing I can think of when people complain about inventory space is that they haven't connected with a guild they can trust.

I believe inventory management is why Zenimax lets us build 8 characters: 2 to play, 6 to sit around at level 4 "carrying your burden" (at least in Skyrim, followers were kind of fun!..)

Seriously, what kind of world at war is that where the best armor you can craft is worth 26 gold and a stupid bag worth 20.000?!.. There should be a quest where we can kill all the bag vendors and bankers for their greediness!..
