Perpetually dirty armor?

Howdy there forum goes. I noticed something odd about the disguise I'm using (Quendeluun Veiled Heritance Disguise). I've been using it for a while now, and I guess sometime recently there was a patch to allow armor to get dirty. Filthy hands, mud on elbows, splotches of dirt on the chestpiece, and whatnot. Gotta give props that this idea is pretty cool from an immersion standpoint. However, it seems like my disguise is forever dirty looking and I'm not sure how to clean it. I tried swimming in lakes, standing in the rain, taking all my clothes (and disguise) on and off, but nothing seems to work. Does anyone have any ideas or have a similar problem?

Actually.

I wear it. When you are sleeping. You don't really want to know what I do when I'm wearing it.

Try Tide. I hear it gets the tough stains out.

Sounds more like it was always supposed to look like this, but the graphics settings were so low you did not see it.
Maybe your settings were reset.

Nevermind. It seems to get clean if you literally do nothing for a long time. But here is a comparison from its earlier dirtier state and its normal "clean" state.

Well, disguises are in the game for one maybe two missions, it makes sense that you can't clean them. If you don't like the gear you are using, maybe replacing the disguise wth another is the way to go.
