Has anyone else had decreased PC performance since v1.1.2?

I got an ATI Radeon HD 3800 Series video card, and since the craiglorn patch, where they have announced some improvements for AMD and Nvidia video boards, I have also noticed that my FPS has decreased by half.

I have already tried several ways to raise the performance up again, as lowering the video graphics, removing Windows desktop features, but it always comes to the same. Playing ESO has lowered to half of it's fun just like my FPS.
So, have anyone else passed through the same experience or is it just me?

Nope, I'm getting significantly better performance since 1.1.2. Do you have any addons installed that may be outdated? These are known to affect FPS significantly.

I noticed a significant drop in FPS as well. I also seem to have noticed a significant increase in texture quality though. When I tried lowering texture quality, I still don't see the frames I got before. My game looks like crap now, and my frames are still about 20% lower than pre1.1.2.

Not really, but then again my 770gtx would likely uphold 60fps+ even if i lost 50% of my fps.

My FPS has not been affected post 1.1 but other aspects of game performance have been. I get brief game freezes when NPCs die when I am on my Sorc, but not when I am playing my Templar. Some add-ons, even updated ones, are related, but again, only when I play my Sorc.

Of course I have turned those add-ons off so no trolling needed. But even without add-ons I have an continuing issue from before 1.1 where the game does not always register my actions. One example, I died 4 times and moved further away from the mobs each time yet I remained in combat after each resurrection and the mobs were able to range me from a distance beyond their actual range and through objects. Upon the last revive the game placed me right where I first died and I realized that the game never registered that I moved or died.

ATI here as well, and yeah, decreased to the point I can't even Alt-Tab without a huge (15+ sec), it was unplayable with Craglorn just because that DX9 vs DX11 bug (that was fixed, according to ZoS).

Before anyone jump to conclusions, I will say: I was playing the game without a single technical issue since BETA, I didn't change nothing on my hardware and I still can play every other title I was playing before, be it solo or MMO, with the same config.

For me, it seemed like after the patch I had some stutter. I don't know if there was anything else done by Zenimax after that, but as of right now the game is performing better than ever for me.

I only get lag in Wabbajack, and I never stay long enough for it to change from amusing to frustrating.

Could you elaborate on the DX9 vs DX11 bug that was fixed? I have reason to believe DX may be the cause of my (and others') frustration.

To those citing a possible addon as the culprit, remember not to just turn off the addon in options. Unchecking does not completely block some parts of addons from loading. To be really sure that it's not causing problems still, clear out your AddOns and Saved Variables folders. On PC, it will be under Documents-->Elder Scrolls Online-->live. Back them up somewhere else of course before deletion.
