This seems to be the trend with all MMO's. There are just so many of them out now there's no real reason to stick with just one. It seems like every few months a new game is being released. This means that players will buy a game and stick with it for a month or so (usually just the free month that comes with the purchase). That's why people try to level as fast as possible to do everything. They want to get it all done before their free time is up. Then, after they've rushed through all the content and have to pay to play longer, they complain about the game in some fashion and rush off to try out or beta test or buy the next MMO on the market.

As long as there is a continuous influx of new MMO's coming out soon, players will continue to rush through them as quickly as possible and move on to the next one.

I find myself not playing as much, too. I am about to hit VR7 on EP, and I have only been on a couple of hours a day.
It's not that I dislike the game, or am sick of it's bugs (and so on). I love the game, and can deal with all it's issues. I think I'm just burned out. While I have no plans to unsub right now, I just may slow down on my in-game hours for a bit.

Nope don't agree, real problem is the mmo community is full of qq carebears they seem to have an attention span of a amiba, and its nearly impossible to please them. I've played a lot of games from RTS to FPS and by far the MMO community is the most plagued by qq babies.

I'm still having a blast. I have yet to do a group dungeon and have only gotten one skyshard from craglorn. Have really been enjoying pvp lately. Been running without a group until they fix the group lag/dc problem but it has been fun none the less.

Here's the deal. Your wife/girlfriend may be beautiful to you. I may think she is an ugly nasty fat cow. Both of us could be right. Really need to post about you getting bored in a game? Go find something else to do.

    Oh, sorry.
Clearly it's our mistake for not rushing past 100's of hours of the game's content just to get to the level cap, only then to carry on like a baby without it's dummy that there's nothing to do there. And you have the smug self-righteousness to tell us in all your ignorant, intolerant glory to use our heads.

Well, since the faults of ESO don't really shine their head up until the vet content... how do you have any input on this discussion since the 1-50 experience isn't terrible?

Of course you are still having fun, you are still in the games intro levels. Wait until you hit vet 1 and the grind becomes apparent.

I waited 10 years for an ES mmo, i'm a big fan of ES and want to luv this game very much... but vet content is seriously the worst end game of any MMO on the market. It's about as much fun as punching yourself in the fun bag.

Until the game stops forcing solo-only play in the main story, the Fighters Guild, and the Mages Guild, I have input to post.

No MMO should ever force solo play.

I'm vet 3 and there's no grind for me.

Mainly because i am not hypnotizing the XP bar. I don't care about the XP, i don't care about my vet level. I am approaching the vet areas exactly the same as i did approach the normal levels - play the game, have fun questing, and levels be damned. They just happen as a by-product.

I've got a V12 sword and shield tank with maxed out crafting in three professions. I'm waiting for a few friends to level up some more to do the Craglorn group content.

I didn't find it boring at all, because I wasn't trying to race that XP bar up as quick as possible and I was enjoying the content. I didn't rush out to kill boars in the woods for levels on end rather than play 90% of the game I bought.

So now that I'm max level, you know what I'm doing? I've started over again with a new character, this one a ranged character, and trying the whole thing over again. It's been quite a while since I did the 1-50 zone after all.

And this character is a completely different experience from my first character.

Sorry if you're bored but you shouldn't be surprised that an Elder Scrolls game, even an MMO one, isn't about a rush to the end.

Older people and their lives outside video games? I'll see your older people comment with name your President, Prime Minister, King or Queen at time of your birth game. I'll go first president: Dwight D.Eisenhower.

As for leveling I'm vr5, I've read every quest, main story(finished), mage and fighters guild(finished) 500+ quest achievement, level 50 blacksmith, provisioning and woodworking, Hero of the Pact achievement etc etc and rarely played more than 2-3 hours a day and never more than 3-5 days a week.

I have 4 children all grown but they never really stop being your babies, 5 grandchildren, own my business that requires me to be there at 6am everyday, haven't had a vacation in over a decade and a passion for roleplaying games.

I know some don't like this, but you can just make alts for carrying materials. Buying two inventory upgrades on your main is more expensive than buying one upgrade on two alts, but gives the same extra slots.

    1. world too small
if you travel by foot or horse how long would it take you to travel across earth
let alone explore it and every inch and then caves, underground and oblivian

2 leveling too easy - should be exponentially harder to climb up - making it a challenge to get there
the original Elderscrolls games were like that

3 dungeons too easy - and too small
they need some imagination when designing caves/dungeons cities and buildings

4 no way you should be leveling by exploring - walk around do nothing but find locales and you go up

no way you should be able to finish a game in a week and then be bored by it
this tells me world was too small and leveling too easy

like can you travel by foot across north america let alone planet earth in 1 week(not including exploring every inch of it)
so why can it be done here?

if world was smaller... then gravity be like the moon

had they kept the original skill system from Morrowind and leveling that way
and had inventory and personal carrying weight system from morrowind
based on weight - bank can be weight as well)

we could carry based on our stamina or our ability to get armor with alteration(levitation/reduced carry weight) or throw alteration spells to helps us carry more

stamina earned by jumping.leaping running swimming climbing

they went backward with a lot of things - trying to fit this into a console game for kids rather than grown ups who want real meat to a game

where are the skooma dens and moonsugar, blackmarket sellers/fencers and red light districts

theives guilds, assassin guilds, nightmother, the tongs, etc
no ARENA's - what that been around since the beginning
    no gambling dens?

I miss using 4 ingredients for potions
I miss using the different tools (combination of alchemy tools - 4 of them) to create stuff too
it was a kind of guessing game what tools or combination of tools to use with what ingredients to make something
    (that's the challenge)

repairing armor - was useful for fixing your own stuff and for leveling up armor skills

no climbing mountains? what - I miss going everywhere
stupid making areas you can't reach
    no swimming?
    no pearl and clam hunting

and not be able to swim to islands or mainland that you see
(it should be all on one map and then we can get rid of the slaughterfish walls)

and for god sakes add more skills like gem cutting, jewelry making/appraising
    speech skills - barter skills

    no hand to hand combat?
    no unarmored?

where are conjuration and alteration spells

like I said the developers went backwards

What you described would be the least sucessfull game in history. No life's need to get a life, not games made for them.
