It seems as if the Devs are prepared to just keep adding veteran ranks to eternity, essentially making ESO an MMO that is about little more than never ending leveling. Are you happy with such a setup? Or would you like to actually see a max level, and stop leveling? At what level would you like to see that max kept at?

    I'm surprised they raised the cap so soon. DAOC is going strong 10+ years without EVER raising the cap...ESO went 6 weeks. All this accomplished was maintaining a level gap between the exploiters & non-exploiters.

    people who were leveling with the goal of v10 in the back of their minds got disheartened when 2 more ranks were put up, then v12 came out, and people left because the idea of continual grinding is just boring. if you want to eventually get to Max level, but that goal is continually moving further away, people are gonna just leave, even if they are enjoying the grind.

    imagine if you were in a 100 metre sprint, and the officials kept moving the finish line another 100 metres away. you get tired pretty quick

    Twelve should remain the limit for now. They should increase the level limit very slowly, as part of major expansions.

    Horizontal progression should fill the need to hit lever, get pellet in between those major expansions. Cosmetics, gear sidegrades and titles will keep people interested, and without driving them to drink.

    Veteran Content is already unrewarding enough and now you wanna take away the benefits an additional VR rank grants versus the other rewards we have in place for VR rank.

    No matter how its looked at leveling MMO's now-a-days are simply bad and need Horizontal progression from the word go only ever increasing the difficulty and challenge gamers can take on.

    They are doing it too fast and without any need to do it also.

    Let 12 for now , get the content fixed , balance the game and add more ways to get to vr12 , once this is done.

    No 12 is enough as it is.

    Although it's apparent that it is planned to go to a minimum of 15 at this stage.

    There are other ways to introduce end game content instead of a constant level up through levels.

    Keep'em coming, why do we need a level cap? I want 200 Vet levels, at least. Then I got something to do no matter how done I am with everything else :)

    And its also fun to level, I like the small increase in power and the feeling of achievement.

    Why would anyone want to reach the finish line? MMOs are supposed to keep on going forever, and a live and fluid level system is important for this to be true

    Its not like we ever stop grinding stuff either, when we reach level cap, we just dont have any use for the xp, feels like a total waste to be honest.

    I voted 30 at the most. They already have Vet 14 Glyphs, from that we know they plan on making more vet ranks. I think if they are going to keep coming out with them so fast then they should cap it at 30 at the most. But leave it like that for a long time. I do want to keep using the same character for all the new content that will keep coming out. I want to get him to maxed level then shelf him for a while and only use him to do crafting for my other characters. (when I'm doing with Craglorn and the other vet areas). I do want to keep using him for PvP when the guild does raids, or group dungeons.

    ZOS needs to stabilize the game first and foremost. And if they HAVE to prioritize new content over shoring up the game(dumb thing to do imo, but meh) they should be focusing on content that was said to be added shortly after launch and not pushing it into early 2015....

    After vr50 I would like them to be called Heroic ranks, then after H50 to be called Epic, then legendary. Each level would have a slower progression. Legendary would be the top tier and you get your name in a lore book which appears in game that mentions you achieved CHIM.

    Feel free to raise the cap IF you provide appropriate leveling content. Grinding mobs does not count.
    P2P offered you 'hell yeah!' moments. F2P offers you 'thank god its over' moments.

    Might as well make it like diablo where you can increase/decrease level content and base rewards on that. Would be cool to see that in an MMO, unless something like that is out already for an MMO.

    Only level scaling is senseless itself. It's a retro RPG game system,lack of fresh edge. These way of difficulty adjustment cause lazy game design.Most of Vet ESO quest is almost copy and past,just change level scaling only.And,It also cause unreasonable game difficulty.

    Player expect something new enjoyable system or intersting gimmick for higher level unknown area.

    For example..

    >some kind of handy cap gimmick for over powered boss or enemy
    (ex.hiring npc deadra warrior)

    >new transportation system
    ( ex. small ship for fishing , new mountable creature).

    >New way of earning money
    (ex.honey bee farm , fishery with ship(like a AC4 blackflag whale hunting) , become horse carriage owner , become express transpoter(like a FarCry3) , become forest hunter,,,,etc)

    As long as they raise the VR, people aren't going to hit Cyrodiil but keep grinding.

    I would have spend all my time in Cydodiil at Level 50, however now I have to go to VR12 for no other reason, other than a basic blue weapon from that rank is better than an epic or legendary level 50.

    They should have stopped the levelling at 50. And all extra content (Veteran Areas) be there only for the sake of adventuring, and the skill points.

    No nerfs, or buffs needed on classes per se. Because Cydodiil actually the players classes are pretty much in par. My humble melee templar VR3, that dies on 3 trash mobs in VR3 content, can do very well against VR10 players in Cyrodiil.

    Hell most of the time, I roll 2-3 vr10 players before they know what hit them.

    Also this is a bad way to develop the game - it reminds me about Silkroad Online, where lvlcap was raised from 80 to 150 in few patches, and reaching 150 was extremely grindy ><

    Why can't they just create good rewarding game play? It doesn't matter if it's fun pvp or pve that requires solid teamwork. Great game play will keep players coming back for more. If leveling to a new VR is the best reason they can give us to keep playing the game, forget it.

    The number of Veteran Ranks doesn't really matter. It's just a number.

    What matters is the content that they provide to advance in the higher VR. If we have to redo the same content to get additional VR, then the answer would be a big fat N-O.

    They need to fix the game first so that we don't all get so frustrated we leave. Fix what needs to be fixed. Give us end game that we can appreciate when everything else is fixed. I don't even like the idea of the vet levels since I am an RPer and frankly, none of my characters would ever go to the enemy and be one of them. That was frankly a stupid idea.

    i agree with p_tsakirisb16_ESO they should have just allowed players to do the other questszones and faction zones for extra points. not this veteran stuff.

    if you have alts, you have to grind the whole story again.
    if you want to live long enough to enjoy pvp (which is not my area, but that dont stop me feeling sorry for those that thought it would be fun to *try* to pvp at lvl 10 here *shudder*)you have to grind to 50 then grind to the max lvl of veteran at the moment.
    if you have allready ground your way to last patches maxVR, you now have to grinde some moar to be able to go back to PvP some more for fun.

    as it stands, there is no way to remove the veteran ranks without further destabalizing the game. so let it stop at vet15. they have stuff for that allready to go. let that be the veteran cap.
    then players can move in alternate directions.
    better skills. quest and areas where you get skill points.
    innovations, not moar grinde grinde

    (and quit with the forced veteran obbsession. you told us we could play it our way, but now you say 'grinde moar and stop playing your way, play THEIR WAY *points to veteran grinders* or bugger off')

    Make new content soloable, design them to give more reward if you group, but don't force it by planting 6+ member mobs everywhere.

    Improve grouping mechanism, player shouldn't spend this much time and effort too find groups. Monster difficulty adjusts with changing group sizes.
