I know there are some VR dungeons upcoming but I'm curious if any regular questing zones will ever be released? Either lower level or VR that can be done either in groups or solo?
I'm guessing here, but I'd say that another 1/3rd of each province will open up when they release an expansion, which would mean a new main storyline, questing, and a return to leveling (assuming you'll start at 51 regardless of VR level).
Zenimax has said, either in this forum or in the ESO subreddit, that they plan to add quests to the regular zones. Someone specifically asked that question, and Zen answered it. While this answer doesn't necessarily imply that new regular zones will be created, it does let us know that they don't consider the experience of leveling from 1 to 50 to be static, and that it is subject to content updates.
I really hope new zones are added. I love the ones we have but when you factor in that the VR Zone will be the same as if you just start an alt, it may start to feel static whether they add new quests or not.
This sounds good. I'm still hoping for a full map, and I'd like those zones to be consistent with "regular" zones - with some flexibility of play style.
