Just curious if there were data on rare item drops yet?

I.e what are the items that have a very very small chance to drop (from any mob).

    Because players can craft/improve better items that what drop I'm not sure anyone one person can answer this.

    Perhaps we can share some of the best items we have had but /inspect doesn't exist on other players.

    I hear a lot about the rarity of tomatoes. Having never seen one in-game my vote goes to them. There's a lot to be said about a game that makes a tomato a rare find.

    Oh god, jus checked on an ESO item merchant site. Best I could fine is just a legendary Axe. Basic stats... DMG/trait... There's gotta be something else right

    THe purple V5 food and drink recipes and the Imperial Motif are the rarest items.

    Tomatoes and Oats only come from hireling mails with 2 or more points in the skill.

    Judging by the comments it appears that the Provisioning craft has some serious problems. Buff the Provisioners! After all, we gotta eat.

    I got my Imperial motif at L37 in Rangnthar. Didn't know it was considered rare.

    The VR5 Epic Food recipe is the rarest item I have seen in the game. I have maybe seen 2-3 total including people who used it and are selling the food.

    Yeah, I'm a provisioner, and I've had people tell me they sell for anywhere from 100-200K. The worst part is, they aren't even very good. Yes, purple recipes improve three stats instead of two, but for much less of a boost (at least in relation to their cost).

    Mostly the purple food / drink recipies. I got lucky and found consummate eye opener (V5 drink) recipe in a guild store for a reasonable price. I've spoken with a total of 2 people with the V5 food recipe available, and I chatted with another guy that was offering the 18 daedric / ancient elf motifs he'd found for a V5 honey brittle recipe. This was when Daedric was going for 100k.

    1.8 million gold for it, and no one spoke up.

    THAT is rare.
