So, there is a GM in the zone of Glenumbra in the Daggerfall Covenant right now hunting bots. I gotta say, hats off to ZOS for this, they just gained +10 loyalty from me.

That is awesome. But dont follow him around too much. I have heard several reports of "proximity bans" for people hanging near bots for too long. And we all know the process to get unbanned is a pain in the arse!0 -

✭I leveled an alt up to 9 earlier thru Bleakrock and all and I didn't see a single resource bot... Iron, jute and maple were abundant.
Perhaps they moved on because the game doesn't seem like the potential huge MMO or the Devs actually did a great job of eliminating them lately. Whatever the case, it sure was nice to have tons of mats to refine.

methjester✭✭✭You do know that the bots will be back in an all new location as quickly they get banned.
As long as they have a cut-rate credit card verification system and a method that allows them to warp to wherever they need to go it's a losing battle. What you are seeing is a bored GM doing bannings for show.0 -

✭✭if they do an ip ban then it will be harder for them some people have to call there service previder to change it and I dought they will keep changing it for them so it will get rid of some cheaters and gold spammers plus plus each computer in there house has the same ip so all there accounts with the same ip can be banned together then bam no more playing the game with there ligiamite player charater they use to play the game and sell there spamPC NA

I am going to give the CEO(s) of Zenimax a bit of credibility and say that they are very serious about squashing the exploits/hardening the code .. and the swarms of ticks that spawn from gold farmer accounts.
Anyone see the movie, Cloverfield? BOTS are like those parasites that dropped off the "American Godzilla."

thats another thing they need to do you have to have an IP address in order to play that will harm the botters very very bad because they can't cover it up with a proxy you have to have one
