Adventure treasure chests

Since the patch 2 weeks ago I believe I have found 200 treasure chests and 95% have been simple and the rest intermediate was this changed expected because I enjoyed the challenge of opening the more difficult chests ty hope you change it back

    I still find Advanced and Master in areas where my level would expect to find them.

    I rarely find advanced or master to begin with, so seeing intermediate and simple is not surprising.

    I agree, I rarely see them; I typically see the simple ones.

    could you tell me what level or lands you find the expert and advanced? I'm in eastmarch, the rift and craglorn finding only simple and intermediate

    Chests are not set with a specific difficulty, the difficulty is based on the delta between your character level and the chest level, which depends on the zone it is placed in.
    ;-)

    Meaning, the exact same "Master" chest would be an "Easy" chest for you if your character was several levels higher.

    So that might explain why I have not seen a master chest since beta. Im always over leveled everywhere I go.

    Correct.

    Also, conversely, if you are way underleveled for a zone, you'll see a lot of "Impossible" chests.
    This is by design to prevent people from getting loot that is way above their character level.

    The I guess the change for me occurred because I'm now vr12 and eastmarch is vr9 area so I won't see harder chests there hum ok I guess I thought the harder chest just gave loot equal to the area its in while simple was 2 levels less and so on I didn't know my level had any effect on the spawn
