Does anyone know if they fixed the fishing bug yet? I'm talking about the one where your rare fish vanishes before you can loot it.

Lalai✭✭✭✭Rare fish are still not lootable. Additionally even if you catch the rare fish in the starter areas you don't get credit for the achievement. So far all fish outside of the starter areas are giving credit for the catch as far as for achievements go, both from personal experience and asking around the fishing guild I'm in.Fisher extraordinaire!

Same here.
I can usually get into fishing on games. In LOTRO for example my house was loaded with fish trophies. Even the rare purple ones. But on this game it just bores me.
Rarely do I ever get anything interesting from it. A gummysack or w/e now and then or a rare fish for some achievement I'm never going to finish. And that's about it. And neither of these come often enough to keep me engaged.Edited by Jeremy on June 4, 2014 1:16AM0 -

There's fishing in other MMOs too??? I can't imagine a more boring thing to do. Real life fishing is awesome - watching fish pixels??? Nope.War, give me war, give me war.1 -

✭The fish should be used in crafting recipes at the minimum. But being able to catch treasure maps, rare trophies/items, would make fishing freaking awesome!2 -

DrOrpheus✭✭I know coldharbour was bugged for me before patch, haven't been back yet but regular zones are tracking right. Starter islands however still don't track right, ive caught both blue fish in the zones i can get to ( haven't been to DC yet) and neither of them count sadly.0 -

Hah. I went through a whole dungeon whacking monsters with a rod like that before anyone realized. Probably a good thing; it had more dmg/dps on it than my paladin's sword did.

Coggage✭✭✭✭If they made fish an ingredient for Provisioning I'd start fishing. I started fishing on my first character until I discovered that it was ultimately pointless to me. This is the first mmo that has Fishing where you can't make food with it.0
