I also have a relative who has been able to only play a little because she gets motion sick being so tightly in on her character while other MMO's have allowed her to zoom out enough that she's 100% fine with them.

Go in controls and look for the zoom in and out bit. I bind ^ and down. You can use a scrollwheel too.

FP crosshairs are more cut and dried for my brain.
I dunno how third person players manage to not get constant headaches from the crosshair having nothing to do with your character.
Hopefully, that will be next on their agenda.
First person FOV slider is part of the PTS build. So we can asume it is going live with the 1.2 patch.Blackwidow wrote: »I'm still waiting on first person view, but by all means, good Sir, you make go ahead of me in line.

there are addon's that do what you are asking for.
I don't think this feature will be added or improved anytime soon when third-party addons do it already..
But anyways at least now you can just goto esoui.com and get the fix you want.

No addon can increase your maximum camera zoom distance. The API does not allow for it.

You want to google "teso launcher" and distance draw; it might not do what you looking for (I don't use it so I don't know of all features) but still it improves the game looks

WoW players no longer need QuestHelper, GearScore, or SpellFlash, for instance. We don't need DBM because of telegraphs and the little hint thing at the bottom that tells you when to block, interrupt, and dodge - even on trash.
