@Hardcorakias In all seriousness, though, you 'can' bring over your entire account, characters et al., and the progress you make on the PC version when the Xbox One version comes out later for a $20 fee, which isn't too bad considering that's a lot of playtime you'll get in prior to getting it on the Xbox One. I'm not too sure on the details, but I do recall reading there would be a discount if you did indeed purchase the game for both platforms; you might want to wait for more information on that. As the game might not come out this year on the Xbox One, playing it on the PC would allow you to get a very great headstart.

I doubt that what you said is true. In the worst case scenario, they go b2p. I seriously doubt they will ever give away the box or digital download of the game for free. Bad precedent for a Bethesda game. It's not Hearthstone after all.
And if eso did eventually go b2p, I don't expect it until 2015. A change in 2014 would really mean the numbers currently in the game are really, really, really bad.0 -

Inco✭✭✭✭Well... I've seen a LOT of my initial guilds pretty much close up shop. In fact three of them I can login during prime time and only see 2-4 people online (me being one of them). Many hit VR1 and the brick wall of grinding and others just lost interest after power leveling. Some are so pissed about balancing and stupid bugs (Bank one wiped me out, but was fixed at least) they just say NO to resub at some point.0

I've actually been seeing an influx of newbies again in the starter zones, even during what are usually inactive times of the day here on the NA megaserver lately. The community is in good standing.
Most MMOs usually lose 75-90% of their population after the "free" trial is over, so this wasn't surprising for The Elder Scrolls Online, though the bots and bugs were really the main drawbacks of the game more than anything else for a lot of players that voiced their frustrations with me who did cancel their subscriptions after the first month or two.
Things are looking bright for the future of the game; the potential is definitely there, and I personally know that both Bethesda and ZeniMax know that the P2P model is far superior to any other model they can use for this game by a long shot. There's no reason for them to make this game go B2P/F2P as the game itself does not fit into a B2P/F2P model with the way that content is rolled-out. Inco✭✭✭✭You know... BOT's are still a BIG problem. If you are a new player, but I don't think console players are going to get stuck with that headache since it's pretty hard to hack XBOX/PS4 like the PC's are now due to client.0

I'm in the exact same boat as you.
And I direct you back to my former answer. There are lots of questions about the console releases, beta being one of them. We just don't know. They did that press release last month and the semi interview on IGN and nothing's been said since.Edited by Fleymark on June 4, 2014 7:58AM0 -

By now, most people know that console information will be released by ZOS when they are ready. If they had released any info, it would have been included in the first couple of replies.0 -

Yup. I was in Craglorn yesterday for about two hours grinding xp in anomaly groups. Zone chat in Craglorn was relatively active with people looking for instances and boss grinding groups.0
