I think there is an egomaniac calling the shots and making these bad decisions and not willing/able to admit when he/she is wrong. I think the people working under him/her are afraid to speak up due to fear of being reprimanded by said egomaniac.

Since Zenimax isn’t a publicly trading company, I don’t expect things to change in a timely manner (no stock holders to answer too).
Hopefully I am wrong. I like this game and I feel it has a lot of potential. I hope they can turn things around before the servers turn into a ghost town.

This link - ZOS ex-employee reviews on Glass Doors was posted a while back by someone, which basically says just that.
- Cons – * Upper Management is very conservative, outdated, disconnected from workforce and filled with power driven egos
* Feels more like an "Empire" than a meritocracy
* Unrealistic expectations in terms of performance
* Maximum accountability with little operational support
* Bureaucracy and politics on expenses- Cons – No sick days. Terrible management, ego-filled leads and sub-par pay.
Advice to Senior Management – Come down from your high heavens and actually realize the ego-situation going on down here.
And other stuff.

So just like every business in every industry?
Internal company politics are irrelevant. Their products and services are all that matter.
Come back to reality. Step outside and get some fresh air. Take a deep breath, and then read what you wrote and realize that these ideas were created in your head and you probably have no clue how development works. Then leave the computer alone for a day or so and head to the gym and burn that stress off. Come back home and realize that you play video games way too much.

And that's why we're all here trying to figure out why they're ballsing it up and how we can communicate with them.
If you're saying all hope is lost because that's how all businesses are everywhere on the land (and that is not the case, some places actually treat their employees well and listen to their customers) then I guess we need to call it a day and all go home?
Cons – Horrible IT systems. Management paralyzed by bad data, fear of keeping their jobs and general incompetence. Some of the employees in HR are unethical, senior management cannot be trusted, and micro managers are really annoying. Employee benefits are not competitive, time off is extremely limited (10 days), no sick days, and work hours are greater than nine hours a day. Personalities and egos keep others from doing their job in a healthy and productive matter.

It simply feels like an unfinished product that they just don't seem to care about.
I can't stand the vet grind, lack of endgame, the class imbalance, the difficulty in grouping, phasing, European server not being in europe, bugs etc etc and if you don't play sorc or DK then, for me, the game is not fun and almost seems to be fighting you.
Then there's the spammers and bots. Never have I seen as many as in this game, never, and I'd go further and say that all the games I've ever played put together don't have as many as this game.
I'm sorry but the game is just mediocre. There is nothing special, nothing new about the game and I just don't want to hang around until they make this game (if they ever do) what it deserved to be and to consider paying for that after the amount of money we've already spent is crazy.
I purchased the digital Imperial version and did so for two reasons. I wanted to be able to play any race on any faction and I thought I'd support the game and its developers a little but I now feel that we're getting nothing in return but a bland, broken game and being charged a monthly sub into the bargain.
And I do understand that there are a lot of players out there who thinks this game is the bees knees (as the saying goes). I'm glad, really. I'd not want to take it away from you but reality must be faced, and coldly faced. This game will go the way of many other games that could have been great (still could if truth be told but they'd need to make some massive changes right now in how they do things).
It will have all the things players want, but at a price. It'll be a cash grab by the company then f2p and anyone that argues it'll never go free to play has their head in the sand.
