I thought nerfing Blade Talons was a pretty good 'fix' for DK's. Nerfing Standard of Might and Magma Armor in one patch is pretty heavy.

Yet to play so i'll tell you in a little while, but honestly with a fire destro build you could almost use standard of might on a regular rotation. Every 8th mob or so my ultimate was full and standard allowed me to easily kill 5-10 mobs, so think about that.

With the state the game population is in it might not be a good idea to nerf the most played classes right now. It would probably be a better idea to buff the least played and then balance magicka based skill lines with stamina skills lines and balance light armor with the other armors.

I play half stamina, half magicka based NB with DW/Bow/Vampire and yet I fear what massive nerfs to DKs will do to the game.

NBs are OP if thier passive works right, too bad they all are broken.

they cant compete with any of the 3 classes in anything

templars also need fixing, some passives dont work like that one thats suppose to give 500 spell resistance when using dawn abilities.

Standard has been mega OP since beta, coming from a DK. Since the patch notes are incredibly vague we will have to see if they nerfed it to the point that it is not the obvious choice for ultimate slot if you are going for damage output.

Just going to say to the guy crying for nerf nerf nerf bat the game to hell, just keep in mind that people who take the time to read tool tips, do basic math and plan their characters for maximum effectiveness are still going to beat you down all day.

Changes to the game don't make you good, so cry, *** and moan for nerfs as much as you want. Those of us with skill will adapt and change and be back to spank you again.

I believe Templar is flat out the best healer so they have that going for them, however forcing them to be healers because that is the only thing they're good at is not healthy for the class.

As for sorc bolt escape, I will always be biased because I am a sorc and I personally believe Bolt Escape is important for a sorc, however I do not believe it should be so easily spammed.

Shield bash needed a nerf. They nerfed it wrong and made it useless. It should be high damage and a stun, but not spammable.

Bolt escape needs a nerf. But the nerf should simply limit it to 4 or 5 consecutive bolts. Right now high end Sorcs in good gear with 3 set Warlock bonus and mag pots can bolt from one end of Cyrodiil to the other. That's just not right.

Templars and Nightblades need a nerf. Right now people still play Templar and Nightblade despite all the evidence that Zeni does not want anyone playing those classes. I suggest taking away the Nightblade weapon slots and not allowing Templars to cast spells. On my VR12 NB, I can unequip my weapons and hit with light attacks for around 45 damage and heavy attacks for around 135 damage. That's more than enough. Why should we get to use weapons?

Normally this is cool. But in this case I really do not want my chosen class to be able to solo content meant for 4-12 players.

So no, do not buff my Templar to DK levels. When you are that strong it feels like you are playing with a Game Genie plugged in to your PC.

Nerf DK's (and Sorcerers to a lesser extent) so they can't make a joke of the content, then buff everyone else to the same level of effectiveness.

Im not much of a fan of nerfs, as it just pisses people off. Better is to uplift my NB and then PROPERLY scale enemies to match the new equilibrium power of players.

This nerf isn't that bad though, DKs are still very strong.

Now the people are targeting Sorcs.

I suspect some form of "nerfs" will come but it's just bad for the game. Those crying nerfs are probably either players with NB or Templar as main class. Just remember, what comes around goes around, DK and Sorcs will gang up on the next FOTM class/build and return the favor. Is this what you guys really want?

Buff is always better than nerf, why cant they just do it right?

Nerfs are good. They increase difficulty and thus promote teamplay. They go against general devalvation of everything which so common in MMOs.
I'd say Templar is good. Let's fix NB (and maybe tweak it after) and nerf DK and sorc(!!!) to templar level.
Reduce number of "I don't lose" buttons (you know) in PvP and we might have a fine game.

Out of all of the things to adjust with NB..... they removed stealth attacking a boss with a vamp bite? WTF lollll It doesn't even do damage, it stuns the boss and regens your health. Talk about immersion breaker. It won't really have any impact on fights either way, but it looked cool. Priorities are way out of whack.

As for DK and Sorc nerfs.... there is way too much nerfing and not enough buffing. It's what all MMO company's do, and like another said, it's the easy way out for a developer.

Why are people so against nerfs? Like this is nothing new. Less this is your first MMO none of this is anything new. Some classes get nerfed, some get buffed, then new content comes out and those classes that got nerfed get buffed again, classes that got buffed earlier get nerfed, rinse and repeat. This is normal to the life of any MMO.
