Some guy will quote this and try to refute it, but it's still true for the vast majority. Now that he's read this he's raging hard and wants to fight me, but I'm pretty badass myself so I'd probably beat him up. And after that he'd REALLY get mad so I'd take him out for some ice cream.
I genuinely wonder. In every other MMO that I know, I understand. WoW fun really starts at max level. But this game? Why in the world would anyone want to rush to the end game (and by this I mean vr12)? There is nothing there! No major, epic, all-expansion-length-awaited superboss, no real new challenge compared to leveling, no real gearing options over and above what is being presented through leveling, no house, no wife/husband, no kingdom awaits. This game IS the leveling, the questing, the stories, why are you rushing to the end?
Now you figured me out. That went really fast! wow. Or.. how about.. because I am interested? Crazy, I know, but some people come to forums to ask questions they would like to hear answers for.

Way to not answer my original question.
Let me ask that again: why do you care how im spending my free time?
I would like to answer your question. The answer is that those like you who 'rush' to endgame for whatever reason are generally the ones who leave the game first and complain loudest about the various issues at the endgame.

This is called "generalizing" and it doesnt make you look very smart.
Give me a balanced pvp i might stay on this game longer than you; but even if i wanted to rush and quit, its my time and my money.
This is the same old "you are doing it wrong, slow down" thread in a very kind disguise.
Yes you are cool for not rushing, happy now? Because we all know thats all you want to hear.
Defensive about what?
Its my damn business how i play the game, something you "slow levelers" dont seem to understand.
I don't think he is trolling, I think tthat he is just angry, clicked on this forum because he wanted to be insulted so that he can , err "disagree" by namecalling, insulting and swearing. Maybe he is just having a moody morning.....
Eh no, sorry, if you want to discuss on a forum, prepare to deal with people that is disagreeing with you; possibly without calliing them trolls.

I don't understand why so many people, like apparently OP, who just wanna quest and quest need to wonder about people who want to rush to end game level. Like what's the point, people play how they want no matter what and no amount of threads about it will make it any different. And that's JUST ALL OK you know.

Those who tend to play the game by 'taking their time', only want there to be people around once they get to that point. They for the most part appear to be the minority. The fear is that the game dies and leaves them with an empty server or a slower developed game.

Its like watching someone walking on the street close to you burst into a dead sprint.
He/she gets half a block away and then starts walking normally, or stops completely.
You (watching from behind) are left wondering WTF? That person just hauled complete ass to get nowhere. Theres nothing where he/she is right now.. so why did they do it?
EDIT- Having played lots of MMOs I know exactly why they do it. So no need to educate me. I'm just trying to relay why the people who dont understand why think its odd.

What in hell are you on ?
The 'rushers' are the one leaving the game first IF the game is lacking the features they are hopping for or when it simply not enjoyable. (ESO has both of those problems)
Those rushers are also those you SHOULD THANKS for highlighting bugs, unbalance, lacks, etc...
Without hardcore gamers wtf do you think games would look like ?
FFS....
The difference of leveling has never been a problem in MMOs .... before WoW. (most MMOs before wow had no "level restrictions" everywhere like now... almost no "level req" for dungeons, stuff, zones, quests... Mainly stats and poeples trying to guess what those stats would allow them to do)
You guys are just beating a dead-horse and calling it a different name : casual and hardcore never been the same, never will be and should never be... what's so *** new about it ? Nothing... What's the problem ? none... still... you guys ( @Elirienne and @Mablung ) are acting like high-school bi4tchs towards anyone not agreeing.
attention-whorage topic really...

Another, insightful, educated, and dare I say eloquent post from the peanut gallery.

Okay man, that's nice and stuff but seriously... you should avoid picturing things like that... Or why don't you use a car or a phone analogy like everyone ?(irony)
'cause picturing is really really really worth nothing. It's kid/politician/seller stuff... only argumentless poeples relies on picturing because, simply, you can pick whatever image and make it say whatever you want and then poeples can twist it the way they want, etc...
No offense bro', really just sayin'... avoid picturing at all cost !
PvP.
That's what I came for mostly.
