Is the Rumor About KUTA True?

I heard a Rumor that Kuta is bugged at the moment and does not spawn right now. The Supply is dwindling and its really hard to find them for sale. After I heard the rumor I decided to advertise one of mine for sale for 40k gold and was told by a random noob that I could be banned for tricking people that Kuta was bugged. No one has them for sale. If there is no more Kuta then I get to decide how much I sell my Kuta for , not some random channel noob. So is the rumor true? Do they not spawn right now due to the craglorn patch? Thanks.

✭✭Um, I don't think so, I just picked up a Kuta rune, while backtracking some Skyshards.People believe what they either want to be true or what they are afraid is true!

MrBeatDown✭✭✭✭I understand that some people get upset and tell stories because the prices will obviously be inflated , and im not accusing the above poster of lying, I just want some kind of definite proof. The last 20 or so peoples Glyphs I have made only had 1 Kuta, and they all said they owned it before craglorn patch. I have a guild of 65 enchanters and NONE of them can find a Kuta. I get asked all the time about them. I used to buy them by the stack and sell them in my guild store. The supply is almost gone. Non Replacable. Need more confirmation. Thanks.0

Wanting and getting are two different things, if my word that I picked up a Kuta rune isn't enough for you, well all I can say is the problem isn't on my end.
Pretty sure others will say something similar.People believe what they either want to be true or what they are afraid is true!

I am not VR level yet, but I don't think I have found a single Kuta in the wild (maybe one?). But I have 7 waiting for me from my hireling.
I wouldn't sell them because they are so hard to come by, but that is how it should be-- if they were easy to get then they would be worthless. (For example, I have 38 rekuta).0 -
Gremlis✭✭I noticed a stoppage on the Kuta drops. Got plenty of rekuta, just no Kuta were dropping. About 3 days ago I got one again. I think they slowed back on the drops for a couple weeks then eased up again a few days ago on a patch.Edited by Gremlis on May 31, 2014 3:12PM0

GaldorP✭✭✭✭✭I've found 2 Kutas in a single Heavy Sack in a solo dungeon and another Kuta in a Heavy Sack (don't remember where) since Craglorn update went live. Got at least 4 Kutas from Hirelings in the same time. If there is a bug it must have been introduced very recently (less than two days ago) but I doubt it.1 -

✭✭I use rekuta to trade for xp(34 ench) and get kuta out the wazoo from my hirelings. Traded one with roommate for the translation bump. The xp for breaking it down was ridiculous. Lol.0 -

skeletorz_ESO✭✭✭It might have been until recently. I do a lot of rune farming and have been doing so for the last couple weeks. Yesterday was the first day I found a kuta from an aspect rune node during those last couple weeks.

seanolan✭✭✭✭seriously, this dude is such a tool. There is, and never was, such a rumor, until this thread was started. He's trying to start a panic and get more money for his Kuta, which are likely left over from the duplication exploit. And you guys talking about "oh, it seems they did slow down my drops for a while" are simply generating money in the bank for this gouger.

Korozenn✭✭✭✭I've found 6 Kuta since the Craglorn patch in the starter zones (of all places).
So, as far as I know, they should still appear. It's just random and pretty rare for you to find one. Though...in my case, I find more Rekuta and Kuta runes than any other aspect runes I can 'actually' use at such a low-level, and with the latest patch, instead of struggling to find enough Aspect Runes to make glyphs, now it's 'both' Aspect and Potency Runes of my level I have a problem with finding.

After the patch that changed Hireling Bags to Direct Items, I leveled all my Mules to Enchanting 12 to get Hireling 2/3, I have not got one Kuta since then with them for the last 6 days or so. Before the Change, I opened all Bags with my Main who had 2/3 Hireling and got 1-3 Kutas EACH day.
Problem was, I was unaware this was a bug and thought they were just pretty common^^ sold like 40 for only 1.5K each.
I get the other legendary mats just fine, usually an assortment of 4-8 per day, just no legendaries from enchanting. Might just be really bad RNG though.

✭The hirling 'nerf' (level of the items is based on the toon, and you can no longer get your main to open all the containers) and all end game players needing new runes when going from V10 to V12 and the ton of players who powerleveled from V1 to V12 from craglorn means the demand is a lot higher.
The spawn rate is still the same, but the demand is a lot higher. With the insane loot drops in Craglorn, it was easy to get15k gold per hour, so more people were farming mobs then looking for runes as it was the better 'gold per hour option'.
They used to sell for 2k each on the server I am on, but with all things where demand is very high and supply low, the prices have got a little nuts.Edited by Natjur on June 13, 2014 2:44AM0
