Medium armour is the weakest, least useful armor in the game. The passives don't help you in battle so much as help you traverse the land, it doesn't give nearly as useful benefits as Light or Heavy, and the worst of all, is the active skill.

Evasion.

The idea is that you have a % chance of avoiding an attack. This seems pretty good in theory. But it actually makes your fights last longer, and gives mobs and bosses more of a chance to kill you.

What wearers of Medium Armour want is the shortest battle possible. The focus on stealth means we're right up close to our targets so we better be able to hit hard and fast. We need to do damage, not avoid taking it.

I suggest a Counter Attack type of skill to replace the useless, slot wasting Evasion skill.

The idea is that the initial skill would be the ability to counter attacks for 5-10 seconds at a certain % reduction in weapon power.

Some ideas for morphs would be:

For every piece of MA you wear, this duration increases by 0.5 seconds.

Lower the % of reduction in weapon power.

Additional 20% chance to stun with counter attack.

Really, the important thing here is the counter attack. MA users want to diminish the health of their opponent quickly and they're not going to do that but simply avoiding damage themselves. That just wastes an ability slot they could use for a skill that deals damage.
