Armor Creation - Previews for Female Armor?

This has always bothered me, my characters are female but I can't tell what a piece of armor (cuirasses especially) will look like on me because the preview photo is always of the male version. This looks nothing like the female version that I will make, so it's useless. This should be changed to the female version if the game sees that a female is making the item.

This reminds me of the male-only mannequins in Skyrim. I had to download the patch to put my armor on so I would have female mannequins, and they were made of straw instead of metal or whatever the original ones were. Bad flashback.

Why can't this common sense issue just be fixed? I don't want to make multiple demo armors just to see what would look best and destroy the rest, I don't have that many supplies to waste.

Yes I agree. I would like to see how sexy a piece of armour would be on my female toons too, so I can decide whether to wear it or not. The people at www.eso-fashion.com do a good job but most of their muses are male, not female.

In general there should be an option to see what an item would look like on the player before creating it. For women and men, but atleast guys can see the lil demo, lets make it fair yall.

What SWTOR got right was an ability, where whenever you saw a gear link. You could test it to see how it looked on your character. This game would benefit hugely from that.

Yeah, some sort of preview option would be nice, both for buying and crafting.

What preview? You mean this tiny picture above the stat window? I thought it was useless regardless of gender...

Agreed completely. I can barely tell the difference between different races in the tiny preview, I would love a full preview ON my character.

Also would be great to be able to see what it would look like leveled up, as I notice things change between white, green and blue.

    It is.

People are asking for a proper preview option, so we can see what the armour will look like on our characters.

That little picture is what I meant, but a full-on proper try-on session would be awesome too! :) Even the little photo would be very helpful for me.

Yeah, the little picture preview is pretty bad for being able to tell what it's going to look like on a male too...

I'd love an ability to see what a piece would look like on your toon without equipping it - especially for items that are bind on equip!

Very much agree. Previewing should be a MMO standard.

Pretty much this. If they gave you a female version picture like already exists, it won't solve your problem. We need a full on preview what it looks like on your character option, so you can see exactly what it looks like.

I rather have a full char preview ingame, but they are web sites out there that goes give the player a preview. Still waiting on them to updated since the last major patch. Also, there are many tiers of armor White, Green, Blue, etc plus races plus gender -- not counting sets either.

@Blkadr You can see most of the styles here, the pics are from before 1.1.2 but some have been updated.

That's helps me, thank you! Now I can at least see what, say, a Bosmer cuirass would look like before making one.
