Please fix spell / element resist!!!
Spell resist and elemental resists don't seem to do anything in terms of defense.
I have 1.9-2k spell resist and almost 1600 flame resist (due to dark elf passive).
Yet, I'm getting hit by an Imps fireball for over 1k of damage.
Granted, I am a Vampire so I do take 50% more damage from fire attacks. However, even if I wasn't a vampire--with all that spell resist and fire resist I would have still taken 700 or so damage from the Imps fireball.
How does this make any sense? This is an Imps basic attack and it's hitting me for just under 1/3 of my HP?
I just don't understand how your resist system works ZOS? 2k spell resist seems like a lot to me as it is overcharged...with an additional elemental resist and THAT element still destroys me.

Darrett✭✭✭✭Spell resist and armor both have this issue. They need to increase mitigation across the board, and increase the soft caps so you can't reach them as easily. It should take at least 5 heavy to reach soft cap on armor; 4 light to reach soft cap on spell resist. Simple change that should have been done long ago.1

Worstluck✭✭✭✭✭If this is in veteran level, some mobs seem to completely bypass any resistance. This happened to me the other day while riding my horse and collecting skyshards. Just running along, took some fall damage, apparently aggroed some mobs and then just dead. VR6 or 7 NPC. I have around 2k spell resist too.

Its pretty pointless to have anything other than spell resist in the game, if they aren't going to display the value. I thought testing done during beta was that having spell resist is the same as having a resist value in all other types, so any extra is just a slight increase, since the caps are so low and restrictive.
Raise resist caps and mitigation, and display all resist values.1 -
