Cyrodiil unplayable in EU at peak Hours (Need ETA on EU server move)
Dear All,
I just want to share my experience in Cyrodiil. I live in Europe, and I have a decent Internet connection. I almost exclusively do PvP. That is the reason why I bought this game.
I play a NB "ganking build" with high burst and I can do pretty well in solo PvP. However every single time I try to play along with the "zerg" the game becomes unplayable. I experience EXTREME latency in Cyrodiil whenever there are more than one zerg around. I can move with my faction's zerg pretty easy. However when 2 or more Zergs fight, it becomes literally unplayable. Even when I am not directly in the fight, being in a 300m radius of a big fight always makes the whole game go slow mo.
It is then impossible to fight: unresponsive attacks, impossible to switch weapon... But I notice that a lot of people seem to fight with no problem.
Is this latency related to the server being in the US and myself in EU? When will our EU server be moved to EU? All I hear is "it is still planned to move the EU server in EU". I need an ETA. All EU players need an ETA on that.
If the latency is not due to the EU server being in the US, then get your **** together Zenimax because I will not tolerate paying for such a poor service.
Im a NB as I said, I have been very patient with the fix of the NB class (and I am still waiting on a dark cloak fix), but fixing Cyrodiil is the most important thing imo. I'm tired of solo ganking all the time because I cannot go where the Epic fights take place.

Again, just want to say that I have a great internet connection, play in USA on the NA servers, and I too experience horrible weapon swapping lag at times in PVE and PVP. This is a overall game issue and not an EU thing. If you are mad and want to quit because of this issue in general, go right ahead (not saying you are doing this). The way I see it, if you guys have the same problems while having 50ms ping, we have bigger problems with 300ish ping. let me remind you that ping is one way, so 300ping means at least .6sec delay against .1sec for you guys. It's not me making *** up, it's pure math... Wanna argue with that?
My point: moving the server in EU can only help. Might not solve all but it's a start.0
