Charging premium price and premium monthly fee is a perfect way to make sure customers patience wears thin quick. Noone likes paying for a service he doesnt seem to receive (in expected quality).

Metallica was one of the greatest metal bands overall untill they try to change their music type for bigger audience. This caused unfortunately or fortunately drastically decrease numbers from both audience.
ESO needs to stop trying to attract all type of players and find their own player base and evolve on this way. It is nearly impossible to make PvE, PvP and RP players happy at the same platform.
Consistency is the key to success...

It looks so bad... Like horribly bad. I dont get how any adult could enjoy that

The $15 per month that EVERY other mmo out there charges?
Quit acting like $15 a month and $60 for a game isn't, and hasn't, been industry standards since at least 2004
I love ESO, don't get me wrong. However, there are some things that were done stupidly with this game, that I can see so far.
... snip ...
7. we have dragon knights running around in robes and weilding staves, and Nightblades wearing heavy armor and wielding two handed swords

Because raids can actually be challenging and rewarding. It takes a lot of work to get everyone coordinated and a good deal of time to actually learn and beat the content. I have never been in a successful raiding guild that was not all adults. It might be due to the timeframe that WoW came out, but almost every guild I ever joined was primarily adults. In all the other MMOs after, you have to join specialized guilds to be with adults.
I think a lot of people are confusing graphics with gameplay.
As usual, the NEXT BIG THING is going to kill every MMO in existence.
It'll arrive, those who hyped themselves into hysteria over it will rage-quit and then start prattling on about the NEXT BIG THING!
The current hypefest seems to be Wildstar .. I am soooooooo reminded of SW:TOR right now.
Me too, I mean who doesn't Remember that awesome Vanilla WoW times, with:I think a lot of the negatives you guys post about WS are positives for me. Created by vanilla wow devs, wow in space, would be a good game in 2000 (before games became garbage), etc.
Getting me a little hyped.

Maybe they want it to go F2P. There is a lot of money to be made with the F2P model.

Nothing to buy, F2P model requires a reason to spend cash.

I wonder why people say this like it is a bad thing? I have long ago retired from wow but that doesn't mean everything remotely similar to wow is automatically crap.
Ruze is a veteran of the PC Beta, lived through the year one drought, survived the buy-to-play conversion, and has stepped foot in the hells known as Craglorn. He mained a nightlbade when nightblades weren't good, and has never worn a robe. He converted from PC during the console betas, and hasn't regretted it a moment since.
He'd rank ESO:TU (in it's current state) a 4.8 out of 5, loving the game almost entirely.

Maybe it will work for them - it seemed like it would have a ton of buttons to bind and could be grindy enough for those who equate grind with difficulty.
Might be interesting to see how things shake out by the time WoD gets released.
Edit - in fact, Blizz might even be a little worried about Wildstar, which is why they're going in such a weird direction with WoD.
