Why did they change the Prophet's voice once you leave Coldharbour?

sadhi✭✭just before the end of the beta they changed the start area, you now spawn in the first major city, because of that some new voice overs needed to be added.1 -

Kinda bugged me that they raved about how good their voice cast was, then not even 1 hour into the game once of the main characters voice is changed to a different actor. Kinda ruined it for me a little.0 -
Just played through the History of the counsel where you go through the Prophets mind, Sounded like Michael Gambon to me. I bet they will fix the recent changes once he is available.0 -

It's only changed for those specific lines of dialogue, because they made last-minute changes to appease complaining players. Sadly, Michael Gambon is probably not on-call for re-recording on a week's notice.

At least there's audio now. Far more jarring for the rest of the game to be voiced, but not the lines pertaining to the (imo) rather pointless alterations they made.grimabepraised0 -

I think this is when they have added something later on, but deciding it's not worth the cost and bother of hiring the original narrator. So they just get the caretaker to do it.0 -

Every little problem in this game breaks someone's lolimmersion!
As someone already pointed out, Gambon is a very successful actor who no doubt is very busy and commands high fees for anything. Getting him back to do a few lines of voice-over would likely be hard and costly, to no real purpose.
You could have an alternative. In LOTRO the voice actors are no-names who are likely dirt cheap and available at a moment's notice .. and the cringe-worthy voice acting they provide is the result.
