Will Level 51 Be More Powerful Than Level 50 VR12?

Assuming an expansion comes out and the level cap is raised, will level 51 be more powerful than 50VR12? Will you have to get to 50VR12 before advancing to 51? Or will it be like the VR levels never existed? I am trying to get an idea of how this game will progress.
Just curious. The developers likely already know the answer.

That's an interesting question. I would assume we will never go over 50 and only have VR levels in the future, but who knows. The entire VR levels thing was kind of stupid and really was a marketing way of having hell levels. Hell levels are levels which take much longer than regular levels in order to slow down progress. They could have just as easily given us 1-60 with 50-60 being hell levels, but "VR levels" is much easier to market as being exponentially harder than regular levels.

I'd be curious to hear what Zeni has to say about it though.

Well I am not sure how I want them to handle it but personally I would prefer expansions to go up in level, with stat character stat changes, not purely based on equipment like the VR levels.

I imagine each faction will have additional zones added and those zones will award regular leveling XP up to whatever the new level cap is. The any zones which belong to opposing factions will award VRP.

So the new zones for your faction will award regular XP up let's say level 60.
The new zones for other factions will award VRP up to, say, VR15 or something.

Think Diablo 3 paragon levels. A hard level cap followed by infinite VR levels.

Also like D3, both games had great launch sells and poor launches. Hmm. That's cute.

Don't be deceived.

The cap was already raised and there will never be such a thing as level 51.

Ther is no such thing as level 50 either.

But I agree, 49 will forever be the cap.
