I've been using the same SnS single target + Destro AoE build in Craglorn and it works fine
V10 so full passives, 5 piece heavy 2 piece light armor
Why Magelight on the first bar? DK melee abilities use weapon crit afaik.V10 so full passives, 5 piece heavy 2 piece light armor
SnS bar is Mage Light, Unstable Flame, Molten Whip, Green or Coagulating Blood, Puncture, Magma Armor
Destro bar is Mage Light, Cinder Storm, Burning Talons, Razor Armor, Pulsar, Standard of Might
Haven't played outside of Craglorn though, so it might be more difficult for me now with the changes to VR mobs
I'm going to have to relearn how to play since yes, primarily I was using bash, and to be honest I don't know what's good otherwise.
Not sure what you all crying about. As for builds, there are plenty listed here in the forums, just look at any of my posts. Lots of viable builds and i have been using them as well with no issues. Relying on Bash was your first mistake. Why would limit yourself to one ability? yea, it rocked, but so many more do as well and then when the nerf train hits it dont hurt as bad!

I do, because it does.Maverick827 wrote: »Taking three times as long to kill an enemy that a light armor/staff user can kill in seconds (and in multiples) isn't "playing intelligently."
Who said it takes 3 times longer?
I too am happy with the bash "nerf". As you stated, makes one have to play smart instead of just spamming one skill (this aint WOW!). I have yet to try the destro staff route but have bounced back and forth with 2H, DW and just sticking to my good ol SnB and have no issues killing. My tank bar is one that has both taunts, Ring of Presv, green Dragon and then the last depends on the boss. Absorb magic for casting ones, maybe Unstoppable for that extra shield for me. But my dps bar changes all the time with what weapon i am feeling but as I said, have yet to have any issues really with killing. Now, i dont go grabbing 5-6 mobs at once, no no no, as i said, this aint WOW and you have to pick your fights carefully. But the challenge in that is where the fun comes in....gets really boring face rolling and zerging everything, no challenge at all!
So yea, as others have stated and i back them as well, check the forums for many of the viable DK tank builds and try a few. There are heaps and many youtubes as well. Heaps of help out there if you only but look.
