So the wording for Might of the Guild tooltip says your spell damage is increased by 20% on your next cast. Is this solely limited class/weapon skills that cause spell damage, or could you, say, Spell Symmetry into a Power Surge to increase the affect of the Surge? I know the tooltip says spell DAMAGE, but we all know how the tooltips have been these first couple of months.

weapons use weapon damage. spells use spell damage.
if surge is affecting it then symmetry will not. the reverse is also true.0
