Naming your crafts.

This one is suggesting a function to name our weapon/armor if they're epic quality or better. It would add a cool layer of roleplaying depth, and it's just nice to run around with your own customized stuff in general.

And yes, I know there will be an issue where people will be running around and slamming 'The Penetrator' in the behinds of enemies in Cyrodiil, but that can be avoided with a profanity/certain words filter.

I know I'm not the only one who would love to run around with my own legendary, any others out here with opinions on this?

I am happy with the current system "made by xxx". Reminds me of old "Made in Germany" tag.

Yes, the main problem with in an MMO is people naming their weapons inappropriately, which could have legal issues. Especially with the example in the OP (not going to include it because it will get removed by a mod).

Well, I liked it in skyrim because it felt more "cool" to do so, but why would anyone want it in ESO? We don't even have "Inspect" command, so outside store and troll-spamming chat, noone may even know you named your 2 axe a Whoresbane

Yeah. I think the cons outweigh the pros. I'm in the same thought, I'd love to name them. But people will be inappropriate. And I already asked if we could see other people's gear, but I wasn't even thinking of gear checks. So the only person you'd be displaying the custom names to are chats and yourself (or anyone you sell things to).
