Okay I could write a fricking litany here but I will keep it simple. It takes a LOT to make my temperature rise but today this game managed it.
I was asked to make some nice Majicka glyphs for 48 gear so I had a good few Rekuta and thought that would be fine for an Ebon thread Head and Chest improved to Blue by the crafter.
Strong Glyph of Majicka (all nice and impressively epic purple letters !)
66 Majicka.
Now I just checked the Enchanter Store for a comparison. In the Store, White, Strong Glyph for 210g. 64 Majicka. This is the same as the whites that drop in Coldharbour.
That is nuts ! The scaling is terrible at higher levels.
The Glyphs in the game need a big review cos at present the system is chaotic and next to worthless.

Lupinemw✭✭✭If its stressing you out then I suggest you stop enchanting. Be happy with the drops and those you buy. Leaves more nodes for the rest of us.

Enchanting or the drops and vendor glyphs need changing so that Enchanting is better than that.

Hciliata✭✭There's a table here that shows you the expected values for magicka glyphs, I'm not sure why you only got 66 instead of 69. But I'm also not sure how you got purple without using a rekuta. (If the table is wrong all I can say is it was right about the increased spell damage glyph I made):

That site was helpful for me when I was trying to make a better glyph of increased spell damage than I could find in game or buy at guild stores. But to your point, sure, it's not obvious how 11 extra magicka on a legendary glyph really makes much difference if the character magicka pool is ~1500 and a spell costs 300+. I can see how it is not worth bending over to pick up that penny.
Anyway the "glyphs" link on that site will let you look at what you can make and hopefully help you decide if it's worth your runes in the future.
Crafting the infused trait on armor pieces does increase the glyph's numerical value, and the infused multiplier also scales up as the armor pieces are improved, but obviously that doesn't help with dropped set pieces unless they are already infused. Just trying to be helpful instead of hassling you.0 -

The actual glyphs made is so marginally better than what you can find or buy.

I checked that site and it is nice to see what I can expect but still only 66 maj or stam on a Epic Strong Glyph 40-50.
So I use Rekuta and get Epic but with the same value on that table as Jejota (Fine).
That table is out of date I guess.
The Ta version is even less than the vendor one.
As I say, it needs looking at and sorting out because it is not making much sense at present.

When ppl dont have anything smart or constructive to say about the subject they try to get personal by trolling or finding bad grammar to say something.
