Are you unable to log into the game right now?
I don't think the devs realize how widespread this is, and I'm hoping that we can get some very unscientific, but ballpark numbers, for all those affected by the 301/Timeout issues

✭✭✭✭✭I can log into the game and playIt's not an awareness issue. They just applied a hotfix. That would cause a temporary login issue for everyone, regardless of whether the 301 error affects them.----

I am unable to log into the game (cannot reach the character screen)and not to mention SUPPORT is a joke! first thing they say is reset your router lol, I have tried to log in from different computers, My nephew tried to log me in from 800miles from my computer still same problem, Our characters are stuck ingame that is what the problem is. The server needs to be reset. OH dont want to hurt the people playing by no meens, Stupid support emails reset your dns, flushdns ect ect. does not explain the fact cant log in from a different computer across country.1

I can log in to an alt or create a new char and play just fine but I can't log in to my main. Still waiting on a response from "support" as their first response to clear cache, lower security on firewall blah blah blah DIDN'T WORK. Hello, if it was on my end then why am I able to play all my chars but ONE..again my MAIN ONE! Frustrated!!!

I do consider myself lucky that I can at least play even though it's not the one I want to play, however my point is to let them know their attempts to make me feel like it's a problem on my end is just as unacceptable as it is for you and others that can't get in the game at all and seem to have gotten the same response from them. Here's hoping someone get's it and we are all back to playing soon.0

I am unable to log into the game (cannot reach the character screen)So I just replied to support with the following, proving what others have said about this being a server side/ESO/Zenimax issue:
Ok I have just verified I was correct.
I had my friend Jeremy log into my account, on his machine, at his house, and it timed out and was unable to connect.
I then took his account info, on my computer, at my house, and successfully logged into the character select screen which I have been unable to do for 24 hours now, using my account.
The issue is definitely on ESO’s end.
I am so frustrated. I REALLY just wanted to relax and play today.

I am unable to log into the game (cannot reach the character screen)yes, this happened quite often in Earth and beyond, and in AOC, i call it black hole, its when our characters get stuck and are unable to log out correctly. quick fix would be a server reboot, One is sched. for monday. THANKS for not being able to play on a weekend, how long it take to reboot server right now?? not long. But it would only be a quick fix, Ive sent in 8 support tickets so far, I think they are automated responses i get back cause what they tell me to do is just stupid. Change my DX11 to DX9, flushdns, edit my host file, ect ect. when you can see they dont read our support tickets.1

Gwarok✭✭✭I can log into the game and play@KitLightning going from say Glenumbra (doing VR content) to Stormhold, Shadowfen (original EP content zone for me)... wayshrine to wayshrine... to vend, bank, and what not yeah I get lots of crashes doing that, It's easier I found when there is a guildie or a group member already there and I can use the "travel to player". I use to travel to Riften to do vending etc, but I like the looks of Stormhold (and I don't have to listen to the constant "It's Here!" Alt F4 and try again and get another eternal loading screen.
On a plus note to that though .... A new season of Ultimate Fighter is on that I only just found out about and wouldn't have known if not for this issue.

So, as I stated earlier I wasn't able to log into my main without getting "Unknown Error" yet I could load an alt or start a new toon and play. Someone suggested I ask them to move my char to another zone which they did. Seems the dungeon I had walked into that was unplayable due to lag which resulted in a dc and not being able to log back in had locked my char up in that instance. Hopefully this will help some of you.0
