"You have been suspended from site" - "Account information is incorrect".

I was in Wayrest Sewers, killing the harvester boss with my party and started to receive huge amounts of lag. I was disconnected and upon trying to login, continued to receive "Account information is incorrect." So, I tried to view my account info on the site and received the "You have been suspended from site" notification... I haven't done anything against the EULA, so what's going on? I've sent in 2 tickets via my e-mail (since I can't login fully). I'd really like to play the content I've paid for or even get a response to what's going on with my account. I'd love to know. Thanks ~Lathens

So looks like it is happening to a group of people, not just me then?

This happened to me, as well. I was in Cyrodiil PvPing when several players were dropped from the server. As far as I know the rest of them were able to log back in, but I was not.

This just happened to me as well after a fatal crash in Bangkorai when I opened my inventory and tried to equip a different weapon.

Tried to log on this morning only to find my account saying the same. I have played hundreds of hours, and never knowingly cheated or even tried to cheat. And, ironically, I have even gone out of my way to spend time reporting bots, etc. to try and help out. Yet I have received a ban for some unknown reason.

There have been multiple posts about this all day. They all are after a crash, and account is either suspended or stuck at login screen from then on. Looks like they put in a stealth bot banner that is auto banning anyone whose computer sends an auto bug notification or some such. So welcome to the club of hundreds (literally...look at the posts, you've got nothing else to do.) of people locked out on first content weekend. But in some ways that may be a good thing with all the other issues.

Mine wasn't in any way related to a crash. I last logged off last night without any problems.

Here is what you do..take all the canned response emails you've gotten, remove any identifying account information, put together a nice little package, and fire it off to every game reviewer, magazine, and online site that you can. I'm sure they were happy to see the google results starting to pop up positive about their new content release. Get a couple interested sites to start looking at the billing issues still ongoing, the login issues, the crash issues, and everything else. If when you do a search for eso news and the first 10 results are reality of what is happening in game again maybe they will start trying to save their jobs before the real world nerf bat swings towards their car and house payment in 6 months.

This same issue is happening to me this morning as well. I changed my PW to make sure it wasn't hacked or something and I get nothing. Account information is incorrect. When I try to log into the site I get a message that my account has been suspended.

I spent countless hours of my free time testing this game for them. I spent more free time promoting the game before launch. I have spent my hard earned dollars supporting it further. This is 100% unacceptable and is NO way to treat a customer.

I can see that this happened exactly 1 month ago too and I'll wager that 6/24 it's going to happen again. I sat on hold around 40 minutes with support only to be told that they cannot help me and that my ticket would have to be escalated to a group that should be able to get back to me by the END OF NEXT WEEK. Wt actual f?!?!?! They also wanted me to provide the answer to my secret question and are working under a policy that WILL NOT allow them to ask me the question! No, I'm not joking. I am absolutely livid.

I had an event planned this morning with friends in-game, I'm extremely disappointed in this company right now.

Sounds like some of you have been naughty boys and gals. Did any of you exploit the issues in Craglorn? Suppose you will all plead innocence though. I have heard of mistakes happening but if many of you have had this issue around the same time then it looks like the ban hammers had a crushing sweep and taken out a few exploiters, cheats and general undesirables.

If you are genuinely caught up in it and it does happen then go to the website and appeal your ban. If you did exploit then all I can say is good ridence and ESO will be far better without such people that spoil the game for legit players and those exploiters are responsible for nerfs that affect all of us!

I don't see what the point of cheating in a video game is. You're only fooling yourself. Apparently, according to support, this is a current problem and it's a known issue. All we can do is work through customer service to get our accounts reinstated. They clearly need to work on a better system for dealing with the gold spammers.

Edit: I've never even been to craglorn.

Make sure you guys use the support option and report it. This happened about a month ago when they banned all the dupers, they banned a TON of players that had no part in it. Your forum access will drop after hour 2. So make sure you do this ASAP.

Call Customer Service. They banned a ton of people accidentally a few weeks ago. This same thing happened to you guys now. Submitting a ticket online seems to do nothing. They just respond with, "Yep, you were banned." Phone CS is WAY better. Usually takes about 24 hours to un-ban you. Ask for the time to be refunded to your account as well.

@Loxy37 I would not be so quick to jump on hey these folks that they did something wrong wagon...
They did this more then a couple of weeks ago also they did after a Patch if I recall. I now one of the folks I play with on Comms for the last 10 years that had this happen to them last night we were skyshard hunting in a cave in the pvp area and he started to have some packet lost and he crashed next thing we know after he log's back in from resetting his router and getting back on TeamSpeak he was also in this same boat.

Now I was not sitting next to him I don't know what he has on his Computer but I can say I also am seeing the same thing as a couple of weeks ago where the System was auto banning again after a Patch....

If these folks were BAD then why let them log into the game in the first place and why set up a banning system that ban's them after they crash or have packet lost do the crash report etc....

I'm starting to loose faith in this company when folks get suspended for stupid reason and I see a this as an issue we all should be worried about.

Maybe a stupid thought... But I was thinking that maybe people getting banned and the memoryleak issue could be related. It's common knowledge by now that many(if not all) botters and exploiters are using memory injection methods to do things they shouldn't be able to. IF zos implemented methods of detecting this in the client and report that back to ban accounts using those exploits, it could in theory mean that the memory-leak and thus possible memory corruption could result in false-positives in such detection methods.

Considering the effects people have when they face the memory-leak issues, where they get randomly disconnected, have their game crash and such, and apparently most of the suspended account also being suspended after such disconnects, this may (or may not) have connections.

My husband and I woke up this morning to find both of our accounts banned. No idea why. We both have had crashes since the patch but logged out last night without problem. We have never botted or bought gold. Neither of us is high enough level to even go to Craglorn much less exploit bugs there. Wildstar is looking better and better right now.

I got an email asking to verify my account and I have not heard a peep in like 5 hours. This is absolutely ridiculous!

I also have the sabe problem. Not only they suspended me unjustly, but the deleted the post that contained messages from several of my guild mates testifying on my behalf. No response until now. Here's my ticket: Question Reference # 140524-010897

posting my friends # since he was also removed from the forums now..
Question Reference # 140524-000319 this is his ticket # they said the area that handles this issue isn't open till Monday from 9-5..

This is just bad customer service and I have been working in this field for too long any system that auto suspends without a human eye looking over is just lazy and in my field people get fired for this non sense.

Same thing here, strangely they apologize first time they did it. Then they do it again. I sent in the same type of appeal and its now 3 hours and counting last time it took 7 hours total. If you did it by accident to some, last time, place their names into a list so you don't make the same offense a second time. I appreciate the effort to eliminate the botters, less the attitude, kill a few dolphins to catch tuna philosophy. Cripes!

looks like they are all closing the threads and giving no official response if this is a new issue with the game.

What is weird is why is this all happening when you crash... is this part of the memory leak problem?
