Fullscreen problem after the latest patch

So, I can't use fullscreen more anymore after the latest patch. The game creates these black boxes each side of my screen. I have tried with all the possible resolutions and the same thing happens.

I don't want to play like that. My game is middle of my screen with black sides. This really needs an immeadite fix. I haven't played for 2 days and when I come back, first I have to download and install the patch and when I finally hoped that I get to play, this happens.

    You play on 3 monitors or just 1 and 2 for something else? For me with win 8.1 the game runs fullscreen on my main and I can still see my secondary monitor. It does blink black when starting the game.

    I'm playing with one monitor.

    I have same issue. Are you using an AMD card and hooking it up via HDMI? Also is your monitor a tv or pc monitor?

    Yes I'm using AMD Radeon R9 270X 4GB GDDR5 with HDMI. My monitor is Asus VE247 Full HD LED(PC monitor)

    I found a temporary fix for this. I tried using the windowed(fullscreen) mode and it seems to work at least for me. You should try that out.
