Cosmetic question for the devs

Thanks for the wonderful game.

My question is: are we ever going to be able to purchase, either through in game cash or real money, the ability to change our character's appearance?

I ask because I unfortunately made my Imperial during the time when the face was bugged such that you could not zoom in. She's really ugly :) I know how superficial this is, but I don't want to play her as is, but I've spent a lot of time on her. If possible, I would gladly pay, preferably as a massive gold sink, or payment outside the game, to have the ability to redo her appearance.

I can't be the only one who would like this option - so, are there plans for such cosmetic changes/kits in the future?

Thank you.

You probably wont get a dev response here, but I can answer you.
As the constantly changing person as I am, I tend to always want to change hairstyles on my characters in-game after a little while to make it match a certain armor, or the likes. So, my question is: will it be possible to change your hairstyle or other appearances (like tattoos) in-game after you have created your character? - Therese Ström

For the initial release of the game, you’ll only be able to select hairstyle and adornment choices in the character creation screen at the beginning of the game. We hope to provide enough options to allow you to create a unique avatar. But we feel the same as you—over time, players want to change their appearance as they develop their characters, so we do have plans to release additional hairstyles, tattoos, adornments, etc. in post-launch content updates.

Thanks for sharing that, so eventually we will get it. Good to hear.

Oh god I would pay royally to be able to put on the face paint that I originally planned on my Nord but having the zoom problem I had to take it off while modifying the facial features first and then I was in such a hurry to get my name and log in that I forgot the paint!!!!!! xD And every time I look at her in the character selection I weep for the fact that her face is missing the paint ;D
    Rebuilt - Aldmeri Dominion

    Kaia Linnea - templar
    Ruusu - sorcerer
    Aino - nightblade

Thank you for that link! Very kind of you.

I'm hoping for more, of course - I want to change my character's entire face. She's 7 miles of bad highway.

But, I turned my resolution to 'high' on my p.o.s. dell laptop, waiting the appropriate time for the slow video card to catch up, and WOW, the character I thought was ugly was actually pretty! And holy cow, the graphics are amazing on high - I have to play on medium, b/c my pc heats up to ridiculous levels, cracks and my fps turns to 2 - but my other character who I thought was pretty on medium is really, really, really sooooooooooooooo super ugly and scarecrow-like it's repulsive. Thankfully, she's only level 9 so I can delete her with prejudice. Sadly, she's married and in quest progress... So, I don't know if deleting her will screw the other person.

Arg! But at least my main isn't a total yukfest.

I've seen characters in-game with facial warpaints that do not exist on any of the races in my character design choices. I've been playing since the first beta on the same install, and I'm wondering if I'm missing some content by having not done a clean install with the latest build.

    Has anyone else seen this?
