I wonder if any1 can explain how does this skill Scale (if it scale at all) and what it's morphs actualy do.
Do enemy hit for 15% less damage just after you used that skill or after each hit of the Shadow ?
I tryed to use this skill recently and it appears it is only worth as a temporary tank for trash mobs.
Shade deal nearly no damage.
I am 2H\Bow user. 171 Weapon damage 2108 Stamina 1409 Magicka.
Still Shade deal realy low damage and skill tooltip doesnt explain anything.

Also i'm looking forward into it's morph but just dont want to waste skill point into nothing again.

Shadow Image say you can teleport into your Shadow when activate again.
How does it actually work ? Does it cost some Magicka ? Is there any range restrictions from which you can teleport. Does teleport do any damage ?

Dark Shades say there will be 2 Shades but they both will do 15% less damage.
So.... ok... Less damage then player or less damage then regular Summon Shade skill ?
Because if it just do even less damage then before then it will be simply 0 damage ...

It's getting some love in 1.2 because it's so *** hum. It's useful as a ghetto tank so you can deal with things one on one.

And since 1.1 hasn't dropped this week, and next week is a holiday week... and to be honest 1.1 is actually a myth. 1.2 will come out around Christmas? Maybe.

Ok. So the scaling of skill with level was abit fixed with 1.1.2 patch.
But was the scaling of the skill in general fixed ?
I mean as i already stated in first post those shades do almost no damage and only good for temporary tanking (they cant hold agro for long thou).

I am only V1 on my NB but I think this is one of the most overpowered skills we have to deal with packs of mobs,

Sneak up to a pack of mobs send in the shade (it doesn't break you out of stealth) they will agro on the shade not you, sneak up and take one out then move away and sneak again until the discovered eye disappears (normally only a small distance away) and go back in and take out another, rinse repeat. You may have to send the shade in again depending on how quick you are. Also if you need to take one mob from a pack (a boss or whatever) send the shade in whilst sneaking again then attack one mob and pull him out of range, when the shade despawns / dies they will reset and not come after you.

    Hope this helps

This is exactly how i use this since it is not worthy for anything else.

However, it seems more like bug exploit for me and i dont think it is intened to be as silly as it is -.-

Yey I must admit it does feel almost like a bug as I don't think its meant to work this way, but on the other hand its worthless as anything other than a distraction to mobs. TBH I find NB so much of a pain at the moment sure I can take over 2k of a single mob in 2 seconds if I get a sneak attack concealed blade opener combo off, but if I cant resneak (stealth attacks using Shadow disguise give no where near the same damage??) my damage output is laughable.

may join the bandwagon and roll a DK

Ehm, it wasnt holding aggro even before the patch -.-
You only able to go stealth again if you manage to 1 hit mob.
If you engage into open fight, Shade lose aggro after 1-3 hits of yours.

The skill says it lasts 19.5 seconds and "the Shade's attacks cause the target to deal 15% less damage for 4 seconds".

Does that mean of the 19.5 seconds, the target deals 15% less for 4 seconds? Or every time the shade hits, it debuffs the target for 4 seconds?
