The only way to eliminate bots is to have a culture in which buying gold is not acceptable. If no one buys gold, the bots will go away.
Isn't there an MMO that has this type of culture? Final Fantasy, perhaps? How did they create this type of culture?

the GMs need to start banning the domains that the bots are coming from. all they're doing is account bans. that doesnt work.0

I agree that not buying gold is a great way to get rid of bots.
But the game is new.
Hopefully they will find ways to get rid of bots eventually.Everyone has a price.0 -

VPNs totally don't exist, and no other game has ever tried that approach, ever.----

Blade_07✭✭✭✭In FFXI gold spamming of any kind and bots are almost 99% gone! The game is older then 11 years and its still pay to play but gold seller/bots are for the most part gone! You can go weeks without seeing one bot or a whisper from a gold seller. Square Enix kicked ass on gold sellers! I've heard rumors that they got players involved in the war on bots and offered rewards for bot reporting. It sounds like they definitely did something right.
