Healing Yourself, Options?

How many options are there for healing yourself? I mean by yourself, not from other players. There are healing potions and related food. There are weapons that will restore a % of health on strick with a specific enchantment. Are there any generic healing spells you can target on yourself?
Baskin Robbins always finds out.

Most of the Templar Restoring Light spells will heal you either because they are an AoE or because you can basically target nothing, and if you need healing, you'll get healed. There is also the Dragon Knight ability Dragon Blood, which will heal you and give you a heal-over-time effect.

Nightblades have some Siphoning abilities that will heal you over time, and sorcerers can heal themselves through the use of some abilities and passives.

Then there's most of the Restoration staff line.

Basically, there are a lot of ways to heal yourself in this game.

My impression from reading on the Restoration Staff Line is that most of the healing if for allies and not yourself:

Is this not the case? Does it include your own character in addition to allies?

the resto staff heals do heal you too
your class also may have some options, as a sorc i have two or three ways to return health in addition to a resto staff switch
    Do you even backstory, bro?

The resto staff skill descriptions are a bit vague. most of them heal yourself in addition to allies.

The two I most commonly use on myself (the shield and regeneration) both target you as well as others (the shield targets you if your the lowest).

Most classes (not all) have innate healing spells.

Templar - a full healing tree. that one's pretty self explanatory.
Nightblade - siphon right off the bat. a few others as well, in addition to some passives to boost them
DK - probably the most broke healing spell in the game atm.
Sorc - nothing right up front. but they have some passives that return health on certain spells. better then nothing.

Pots seem to be last minute emergency things so far. but there are passives to help with the as well. Alchemy passive increases effect duration. And i think there's an enchant that actually increases the benefit of the potions as well. I haven't worried about it too much.

And don't forget...damage eliminated is damage you don't have to heal. CC goes a long way in this game. should be used often and regularly.

The healing from Resto Staff skills default to those allies in most dire need of healing. That being said... you yourself are included as an ally. The tooltips could be more clear.

Soul Trap - basically cast it on the enemy, when they die with it active and you get partially healed. Not as helpful against 1 opponent but very against multiple

There are also guild skills that will heal. Entropy, from the mages guild, does damage and heals over time.

Blood alter, from the Undaunted line, increases health recovery over time. Though, I don't see that as being as directly helpful if you are just soloing.

Blood alter creates an area where you get extra health recovery. It's value is debatable though.

Dual Wield has a leach morph on one of it's skills.

A soul trap morph gives health when an enemy dies while under it's effect.

Vampires have a few, but also have slower health regen.

Entropy in the Mages Guild tree damages the enemy, then heals you a little.

Two Handed has a morph on it's buff skill that heals you when the buff ends. Not exactly ideal as far as healing is concerned, but it's something.

You "hold" the key to select the item you wish to have on the hotbar. You "tap" the key to use the item once it is on the hotbar.

Thank you. They should explain this better in the tutorial, I don't know how many times this has cost me a life when needing a quick potion. ;)

CC = Crowd Control, ie. anything that snares/slows/stuns/knocks back your opponent(s).
