I know I'm not the first to get this achievement but I did feel a great sense of accomplishment when I completed it.

So did you get a title?
Perhaps a golden lockpick token or some other kind of a trophy?
Maybe a vanity pet or a mount?
Anything at all, to show for your efforts other than the sense of accomplishment?

If it not, it, sadly, shows how shallow and boring ESO achievement system is.

While I like the way they did lockpicking in this game, I am sad its not an actual skill in my character sheet. I really wonder if when the thieves guild stuff finally makes it in if there will be lockpicking related things or if they will turn the mini-game into more then it is now. I feel just like skyrim, once you get the hang of it you can pick any skill lock with ease pretty much. Only the master level locks give me a TINY bit of anticipation because the timer is so quick, but other then that I never break lockpicks, EVER, anymore.

Looking forward to getting this achievement!

Well done.

I am very fond of lockpicking as well, my only "problem" with it is that I have a feeling that I am getting slightly too much XP from it.

Which leads to me being always somewhat overleveled for the content I am currently supposed to do.

I am playing rather slowly and just now took my first steps into The Rift, while already being level 42, with all the monsters around me being 38.

You know what, I agree with the too much XP thing. For a long time I couldn't figure out why some people were complaining they were always underleveled but swore they did ALLLL the quests, but me, I'm always WAY above level. Usually to the point that for 3/4s of a zone I wont get xp or drop loot from mobs or bosses. Chests do give you a ton of xp, even when you are high level it seems to scale up with you. Picking a chest has actually caused me to ding for my last 4 levels now. I'm currently 46 and about halfway done with bangkorai, maybe a bit more then half.

You should have been given something for this. I love lockpicking, it's one thing that IMO they got completely right. Needs to be expanded on though...hopefully houses, will have locks as well in future content.

It's just because you're under-leveled.
