Deconstructing to level your clothing/woodwork?

I've heard if you DC stuff you get from quests or other players' craft gives you more xp. Can I DC ones I made on another character for the extra xp ?

Where did you get that number? It's a percentage increase, depending on the amount of material used (i.e., the level), but nothing even close to 700%. Maybe 2x-4x at the most, and the percentage of gain is per mat, but decreases past a certain point, so higher level doesn't produce XP as efficiently. And making by alt A and deconstructing by alt B gets you the same boost as if A and B were separate players; this was established long ago.

Not true, you get the same item XP by deconstructing an item made by an alt as another player or separate account which is 2-3 times the item XP that you get when you deconstruct items you make on the same character. Tested thoroughly.Edited by Synfaer on May 22, 2014 3:01AM1
