I know, most of the dragons are dead at the moment.Although, as a few have posted interest in dragon mounts, dragons have no mention of being around at the point in time ESO is taking place. Alduin won't show up to resurrect them for a very long time.

But would still like to see some variation in mounts.
Maybe we could have Battle Hogs like in Zelda, or some sort of Tame Troll as someone said, or Giant weasels, or Huge Dogs as mounts (like Great Danes or St Bernards but horse sized), or Giant Rabbits.
Edit~ I realise you said yes too, but I started commenting on the dragons and got carried away, sorry about that.
i ride dragons in skyrym so.... that should be only possible after a extremely hard quest, nearly impossible. solo only. and so impossible that max level goto be good, no build should make it easy.
it should stay rare
even if im not good enough to get it a dragon should be rare
No... Just no. Almost nothing would be as lore-breaking as dragons. All of the dragons (well, aside from Paarthurnax) have been dead for centuries in the time period of ESO, and they won't be resurrected by Alduin for centuries more.Or merely a flying dragon, dat be hella cool

That is a very interesting standpoint. I would imagine then, that you only play human races and don't utilize magicka in any way. For that would be unrealistic.
Off the top of my head Oblivion had a unicorn as a mount, and Skyrim let you ride dragons. Both would be bad ideas for ESO (the unicorn less than dragons, but any "unique" mount would be a bad idea because it would very quickly lose all uniqueness and you'd see hundreds of them), but both are examples of non-horse, non-modded mounts in ES games.RianaTheBosmer wrote: »RianaTheBosmer wrote: »I want to see horses of every kind. Have you seen a mount in any Elder Scrolls game that was anything but a horse that was not modded in. You know what I meant. Horses as mounts is ES.

You didn't buy it, one of the Deadric quests was to murder a Unicorn, but once you killed the minotaurs, you could just mount it and ride it.RianaTheBosmer wrote: »You rode a dragon but you didn't own the dragon and I played Oblivion, I never saw a unicorn to buy.

The Unicorn was available after a quest. Also, whether you own a mount or not does not have anything to do with whether that mount is a mount. If it's something you can ride to get places it's a mount.RianaTheBosmer wrote: »Off the top of my head Oblivion had a unicorn as a mount, and Skyrim let you ride dragons. Yes, like @Azzuria said, only lore-friendly mounts. But i think ZOS thinks the same way. I don't think they would add an pink unicorn or something
