Hope to see this implimented soon then! The Server Status section was removed, we'll be announcing server downtime with the forum-wide messaging system going forward. You can also check out the service alerts section on our support site.

The only way they could do it is to have an overall Guild recruitment forum with faction based subforums.I would like to add to my list of suggestions:
Guild Recruitment Forum
-Any Faction Recruiting
-Daggerfall Covenant Recruiting
-Aldmeri Dominion Recruiting
-Ebonheart Pact Recruiting
It's difficult to find the RIGHT recruitment threads you may be looking for because of the NUMEROUS abbreviations in almost all of the titles. I don't care HOW it would be implemented, but only that being able to sort threads by faction be available somehow.
Post in combatting-gold-spammers-on-the-forums thread, you can name and shame in that thread, so ZOS can do something about it.How about adding a report option to the PM portion of the forum structure so I can report the gold sellers that are now using THAT avenue to spam me?
EDIT: I saw the thing about the Server Status page.. I don't like it. I mean, I like to KNOW AHEAD OF TIME when it is going down. Not just "oh the server is offline now". That's useless. I can find that out by trying to log in.

- Still seeing pointless french/german forums, completely clogging the view
- Unable to see sub forums unless you enter a main forum
- Completely pointless sub forums or they are in the wrong location
- Non existing "roleplaying" forums. Where are the race forums?
- What is wrong with the standard line by line main/sub forum layout that *everyone* use today. Its good design, it make sense and we are used to it. Your forum that consist of a wierd box layout is however very bad and very confusing.
The features are decent (vote options, saving drafts, etc) but the overall design remain horrible. What's going to happen when the console version release? Are we going to have to look through 50 darn boxes before finding the right forums?
How the layout somewhat loosely imagined should be:
- News/Information mainforum
--- Developer/interviews/etc subforums
- Support mainforum
--- PC/console/Mac technical support subforum
- General/main mainforum
--- PvE subforum
--- Cyrodiil subforum
--- --- Aldmeri/Daggerfall/Pact subforums
--- Players helping players subforum
--- Guilds subforum
--- Crafting subforum
- Lore mainforum
--- Story subforum
--- Race subforums (one subforum for each race)
- Community mainforum
--- Addons subforum
--- Community creations subforum
--- Offtopic subforum
- German mainforum (with all subforums as above)
- French mainforum (with all subforums as above)
- Archived mainforums (if you ever create temporary forums for event things)
You just saved me a ton a typing...
I would BOLD your first line though... that has been the most annoying thing from the very beginning as it completely clutters everything... why make us choose a language when it has no use...
Language selection only affects main sie not forum contents as intended.

Couldn't agree more. I'd also like a notification when the scheduled server maintenance has been cancelled - like they used to do on the Server Status page...
This Monday was the perfect example. There was no communication that it was cancelled (or none that was easily found) and I didn't get any notification which is supposed to be the new method. Plus, the service alerts on the support page are no help because they haven't been updated since 5/16.
If this is how the maintenance is going to be handled in the future, I'd rather just have the Server Status page back.

When I signed up to use the forum it required I select a language..not for the main site everyone around the world can see and use. They built the At a Glance layout to be easy to read and find what you want...dont need it in 3 different languages all a the same time which makes it kinda hard to read... would think that type of filter would be easy enough to impliment especially for a AAA company like ZoS.
If it's working as intended to force me to view the same content in three languages then wow... just wow.
Where's the Chines and Russian forums...gotta think they have more players than the DE or FR forums do...
Maybe a tad off topic, but I'd love to see a few new emote faces? There are no mad emote faces.... My only option now is to get glad!!

He'd rank ESO:TU (in it's current state) a 4.8 out of 5, loving the game almost entirely.
