Templars do not stand still

In all forms of ESO game play, Templars do not stand still. Unless granted immortality:).
Please do not create skills that are based around a flawed premise that Templars need to or should stand their ground, they do not and cannot.

We need skills that flow and shine the light on what combat should be.

I feel like Templars should focus on abilities that feel like charging into battle. When I picture a knight templar, I don't think 'stands still', I think 'runs into the fight, sword at the ready, swinging'. Also a lot of tanking abilities.

2026: Allowed players to move while resurrecting others.
Made Highland Sentinel set less punishing when you move and lose stacks.

2027: Team, in the year of our Lord 2027, let's cater to templar nostalgia bait, let them be the romantic martyrs who stand in their own AOEs as the pious Aedric worshippers they are. Unlike those heretical Daedric classes who have fallen to the temptation of fun skills that bend space and time and teleport around Tamriel and dominate pvp.

Now if there was a parry skill that ground locked me but allowed me to mitigate 100% of damage for 1 second and knockbacked the enemy in a cone, I would totally be fine with standing still for 1 second.

Or if I stood still to cast a spell that nuked heretics with the tooltip of Vicious Death. Then I would be willing to stand still for 1 second.

Otherwise, standing still, being slowed with cast times, and being zone restricted are detrimental to player experience if there's no appropriate payoff.

How many people use the destro scribing skill in PvE or PvP?
