Already sent a report about 3.5 hours ago. At least they only seem to be able to post once every 30 minutes now.

Edit: Okay, now the interval got shorter for some reason. I thought they had implemented some timer for creating new threads.

ZOS could easily change the cooldown to 24 hours. I really don't see any reason why someone should need to create multiple different topics in less than 24 hours anyway.

Using passwords stolen from the internet on old accounts. This account hasn't posted in the last 4 years. Maybe a cull on all old accounts is needed or a refresh password requirement for all accounts.

They check to see if your account is inactive. If it is they gain access and use it to spam.
Note how the account they've hacked this time (@Aegen) was last active almost seven years ago - back in January 2020.

SEO spamdexing. (Search Engine Optimization Indexing)

Hacked or compromised accounts are used to post links across the internet, creating links in bulk in an attempt to trick search engines like Google, Bing, Yahoo, etc.. into bumping sites higher into their search visibility.
