Darloc Brae stealth set bonus from 4th to 3rd position = free slot for Prowler's T. / Shadow Cowl

Right now max-stealth crime build takes all 12 gear slots (5+4+3 set items).
If you move Darloc Brae's 4th stealth bonus to 3rd bonus slot, we would get one free gear slot for Prowler's Talisman for the max stealth build.
It would make a lot of sense.
Otherwise no reason to use Prowler's Talisman for crime at all because max stealth is just superior vs +5% pickpocket.

Does the necklace get any other abilities when it is fully upgraded? This stat could easily be added to the mythic through the upgrade system it has.
(Math before coffee, except after 3, is not for me)

    According UESP:
    https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Online:Prowler%27s_Talisman
Upgrades 1, 2, 3, 4 increase only the "Max Magicka and Max Stamina and Recoveries" bonus.
Invisibility and pickpocket stay the same.

5% pickpocket doesn't even cover cases when you are doing 90% pickpocket chance for "noble" NPC's.
So for crime it's very useless unless there would be a free slot for that.
This mythic also won't be used nor in PvE, nor in PvP unless people want to deeply underperform.
So I propose at least little tune for stealth crime to freeslot-it.

Story, acquire conditions, upgrade system, achievement, a lot of work for an item that fits no situation.
    That's really weird about it.

I'm of the opinion that there needs to be some element of risk, no matter how minor. You can already walk up and kiss a guard on the nose while you have heat/bounty, and they won't even notice you. IMO asking for the added benefits of a mythic with no trade off is asking a bit much.

Besides which, the Prowler's Talisman already makes up for the detection range bonus by granting invisiibility. If you find yourself in a tight space and need to sneak through, all you need do is crouch and tap block to get 10 seconds of invisibility. Plenty of time to sneak past any obstacle, pick and loot a safebox right in front of a witness, or slip under a guard's nose.

Well yeah, if you propose a gimmick or roleplay where you set non-optimal conditions for your character, then this mythic has a sense in that way.

Otherwise, cheap 16s invisibility pot with 45s cooldown does the job already.
And there is no scenario where you would use both for slightly lower total cooldown.

Only real thing you need to avoid are revealing flare guards and traps in Heists and Sacraments where nothing helps anyway.

In my opinion it's another useless crime mythic like this when it comes down to choice between 2m stealth radius or these mythics:

But as I say, the item may stay in the game unused, it doesn't really matter.
I just don't understand the development time and money investment in it.

I would leave it as is, because you can have perfect stealth as Khajiit AND the Talisman on top. That'll keep it niche for us Khajiit players.

I plan to get this mythic upgraded for the achievement but it is not needed for stealing and pickpocketing. There are other sets for stealing than the ones you use as well.

I use Shadow Queen's Cowl all the time! :D

It's great for mass pick pocketing as it keeps the target stationary while you get your 3 picks. Some NPC's like to keep moving, so rooting them in place is nice. And when expediency is a factor (like farming the Vvardenfell safebox loop), it's nice to see guards coming from miles away. Especially when they're standing right outside a door you're about to step through.

As for invis pots.. I'd rather a cost free 10 second invis than burning through pots. I could just as easily subclass into Assassin for the free invis as well, but I try to avoid subclassing on principle.

Well, it has been just an idea :D
    I understand your points guys.

And as a non-Khajit, non-Nightblade, non-vampire criminal, I am still just fine with only stacking extra 6m of radius reduction and facehug NPC's either way.

Mother+Darloc+Cowl on NB with Shadow Cloak and I have not needed anything else. You can already stand on an NPC's head while pickpocketing with those.

Pretty much a no brainer for the design team to change this one. Would feel cool to run a mythic on the optimal setup.
    Rest in Peace:
    The Dragonknight
    2014-2025

This commemoration is for the class that has constantly been plundered and dismantled by designers for no obvious reason while other classes continue to have coherent skill lines and feel both powerful and cool.

Agreed, it would be so nice to actually use these stealth mythics without sacrificing stealth sets.

That said, I've been sneaking around on anon-khajiit, and can still be completely undetectable. It would be nice if we had all the math (like default detection radius for different enemies) so that we knew when we were over-building into stealth.

Agree, I would love to see exact stealth/detection numbers for NPC's somewhere.
At least if API-call could provide such info and a goodwilling addoner would make an addon for that. :D

And my own stealth/detection radius math should be in the advanced character stats for sure.
