Returning player PVP advice.

Good afternoon all.

I've played for a few years on PC from the Beta until around the Southern Elsweyr DLC. Had a large break then resumed playing on PS5 about a month ago.

PVP has changed drastically in that time and as much as I try to brawl around in battlegrounds I can't seem to get to grips with things.

I was wondering if you could reply your top tips for U50 PVP regarding class choice, build choice (mag/steam/hybrid), gearing and any other advice you may have.

For reference I used to play a Mag NB Destro/Resto full light armor etc and I'm finding those sort of builds just get deleted at the moment.

Everything is hybrid and imo classes are in this order. (Obviously this is very subjective)
1.Dragonknight
2. Sorcerer
3. Sorcerer Werewolf
4. Any other Werewolf
5. Necromancer
6. Templar
7. Warden
8. Nightblade
9. Arcanist

I'd say Sorc is #1. DKs have a lot of power, but they have to catch you first. And it's not like you couldn't just time negate when they get near you and take them out considering Sorc damage is also hitting hard too unlike the other 5 classes. Really, people underestimate how powerful negate is and how strong Sorc is in terms of having attack and defense in the same window of time.

For me DK wings hitting the whole sorcerer damage kit knocks them down slightly but when DK gets less popular Sorc will probably move to number one.

I would say go with sorc then
