Pro Sorc responding here:
But negate is so costly, impossible to run on always nerfed, super expensive cast, always lacking bar space, last place in PvP Sorc.
Like, who even has bar space to use negate? You guys are acting like Negate is a one slot solution that every Sorc should and literally does have on their bar if they are a pro.
No. That simply isn't true! And it isn't true that you see Negates everywhere in a big battle. No, no, no, no. There's barely any Sorcs around these days thanks to use being always nerfed and forced into last place when we were given everything we could ever want with the mastery system and were already at the top before then.
Wait, I get it now, you're trying to equate Negate, one of the worst skills in PvP and even below Consuming Darkness, with a skill that got nerfed to show how powerful Negate is. I mean, there's no way something that counters an ability that is broken isn't also broken, right...?
Stop trying to get fun nerfed! Stop trying to get tactical play nerfed! Negate is balanced! And it's incredibly fair, especially the part where it has an effective range larger than it's graphical distance and sometimes doesn't render at all.
Yes, it's very fair. And it costs so much that no Sorc is using it. It needs a cost decrease to maybe, say, 50 and then they can bring Mist Form's old form back. Nevermind what lowering Negate's cost that low would do. This is a reasonable trade-off in exchange! I am sure everyone can see it.
