Hello, why does the TESO launcher still not allow you to indicate a game folder already installed on a hard drive?
It is extremely confusing to have to redownload the game because the launcher does not have the ability to detect. to install an already existing installation.

Alharion✭✭✭What’s more, it’s still baffling that the launcher still doesn’t let you choose where you want to install the game. I hate this aspect of the TESO experience; it’s unthinkable not to have that choice on a launcher in 2026.
It would be really welcome if you could add these options to the TESO launcher!0 -
rothan117✭✭✭✭✭I do not understand what OP is talking about, I had no trouble choosing where to install ESO. I have it on my f: drive in its own folder. Works just fine.2

Toanis✭✭✭✭✭On my PCs, games go to E:\Games since before Windows 95 was a thing. No problem with ESO.
When this is about moving the installation to a new PC - my ESO install has moved multiple times.
Don't just copy the folder and try to start the launcher, that rarely works with modern games.
Instead use the official installer, stop it when it starts downloading and then copy the files from the old folder to the new.

✭✭✭✭✭I only use the Launcher on Patch Day. Otherwise I use a shortcut to the ESO64.EXE
